The summer months are busy but come wintertime it is quiet and tranquil.

During the summer activites include the beach, golf course, marina (for watercraft rentals, boatslips and mooring), great fishing, interpretive walking trails and additional activities at the Park Store.

Winter brings 170km of signed and groomed snowmobile trails, cross country ski trails, a sledding hill, ice fishing and a skating rink.

Steiestol Lake, Marean Lake, Barrier Lake and Barrier Ford Lake are all within driving distance.

The cabin is located in Zone 48 - the area is known for its moose, deer, elk, geese and bear.
