The Basil (baz-el) cottage is the perfect get-a-way where you can sit on the back porch sipping coffee while overlooking the babbling creek- get back in touch with nature for a much needed break from the stress of every day life. It may be a much needed romantic weekend, a mid- way point as you tour the bourbon trail, visiting Lincoln's childhood home or just a place of your own while in town to visit family, no matter what brings you to our cottage- you will love it here.

The space
The cottage is located at the entrance of our 100 acre farm and sits on top of the hill looking down on a creek. The property is available for your pleasure while staying at the cottage. The creek has a walk in entrance, with a nice gravel bar where you can sit and enjoy the sights and sounds. There is also a dirt road that leads to the back of the farm. It’s a great place to go for a run or take a leisurely walk.
The cottage is a cozy but spacious 550 square feet. It has a front porch with a swing and a screened in back porch with a beautiful view.
There is also a patio with a wood burning fire pit. Fire wood is provided.

Parking is directly in front of the cottage. There is enough room for two vehicles.
