CHECK-IN/OUT is FLEXIBLE, with advanced notice, and depending on my schedule. Weekday mornings before 8am, or evenings after 6pm are typically the best times, but mid-day is negotiable. Weekends are also flexible.
Full kitchen/livingroom/bath - share with one other & a cat
Large yard with a bbq, motorcycle or small car parking, and a shed for bicycles
includes toilet paper, dish and hand soap, paper towels
-Full Sized bed/bedding
-hangers, iron, ironing board in closet

Small animals in cage or tank ok. There is an older cat here, and she does not get along with other cats or dogs. A backyard dog is negotiable, a cat or dog locked in the room is not.
Room faces a busy street, so you will hear some street noise. Fruitvale is an eclectic area of Oakland. There is a huge Mexican influence but it is also very diverse. If you are looking for a comfortable room to relax in at the end of your day, this space is right for you. If you are looking for San Francisco to be right outside, this may not be your best option.
Off street parking. Kitchen/livingroom access. Charming back yard. 5 minute walk to huge Mexican grocery store.
I work full time, and take classes too. I am always happy to chat when I'm cooking in the kitchen, and usually won't turn down a walk to the market or to get a taco down the street.
It is awesome if you want a taco. :)

It was very nice. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Her house was very clean and could feel like home. Neighborhood wasn't as bad as I thought, I parked on street and my car was fine. Michelle is very nice and an excellent host. Even though it was my first bnb experience I'm pretty sure it will be at the top.
Air bnb es muy util
I stayed two weeks at Michelle´s place. Everything went very good. I already wrote a review for the place. But I can say again that is a nite place! thanks Michelle, hope you´re doing fine!
I stayed two weeks at Michelle's place and I can say that is a very nice spot in south Oakland. The house is beautiful, big and comfortable, organized and clean. I enjoyed very much her backyard almost every day (and she also has darts to play with!) Michelle was very nice to me showing me around some mexican stores in the neighborhood, also in Alameda -the island next to Fruitvale- and even Chinatown. We shared some meals and it was entertaining ´cause she´s vegan and know a lot of stuff about food. And Thea is such a loving cat!
Is important to know that the room itself faces the street, so it can be a bit noisy from time to time. Public transportation is near around but if you can´t wait or easily fell unsafe will be better for you to have a car.
Michelle was a great host. My room was clean , comfortable all that I needed was provided. I give Michelle extra points for actually having an iron and iron board available in the room, for me the place was conveniently located near where I needed to go. Great place to stay and definitely would come back. Thanks Michelle.
I had a great stay at Michelle's house and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The room and house is stylish and comfortable. There is also plenty of space for food in the fridge and cupboard as well as for clothes and baggage in the room. It's easy to step outside and relax on the porch or in the backyard. The BART station is a 15-20 min. walk but I would recommend driving or taking a taxi, the BART station has a lot of parking (there are two lots for $1 and another for $5 for the day).
