Welcome to Reel 'em Inn, our home away from home, close to everything in Scottsboro / Guntersville. Easy 8-mile drive to GoosePond Resort Boat ramp. Our cozy cottage directly on Lake G has all you need to fish or relax in the screened-in porch, or by the firepit. It is steps from the waters edge with panoramic lake, mountain & nature views. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, golf, hiking, boating, state parks, fishing / tournaments & more!
The space
2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Entire cabin is all yours to enjoy. The well-equipped kitchen, large living / den area, and dining table are located downstairs. One full bathroom (with standing shower) is downstairs near the laundry room. Laundry room comes stocked, with side by side washing machine and dryer.
Both bedrooms are upstairs; the master bedroom features a queen size bed, closet, dresser, and elevated view of the lake. The second large bedroom features 4 twin beds, closet, clothes dresser, and view of the lake plus an extra side window. The full bathroom upstairs includes bathtub and shower, plus a window with an elevated view of the lake and expansive backyard. With our hi speed fiber internet, portable desk table, and cushy chairs, you can also work remote (telecommute) if needed, with ease & dependability. Pura Smart Fragrance Diffuser added in September 2025. Remotely managed device emits calming, delicate scents for relaxation. One in living room and one upstairs too. If you prefer not to have them in use, simply ignore them or unplug if you wish, but please plug back in at the end of your stay.
The expansive screened in porch facing the lake features Amazing Views of Lake Guntersville and surrounding countryside. Soak in the view from lounging, recliner “zero-gravity” chairs or enjoy your coffee & make memories while relaxing in wrought iron chairs and table.
Massive 2 vehicle open garage large enough to accommodate your truck(s) and boats, even with Powerpoles. Plenty of lights and outlets in the garage to charge up your batteries for the next day on the lake. Driveway is also long and spacious to hold additional vehicles.
The cabin and location are ideal to charge up for your day of shopping, golfing, boating, hiking - or all of the above … or to relax in style and peace after fishing and swimming right in the backyard!!!!

The entire cabin is for your use along with screened in porch outside facing Guntersville Lake. Chairs, table and Charcoal BBQ Grill are included along with a stone fire pit for you to enjoy the sweeping sunrise and sunset views during your stay. Our cabin offers an open 2 car garage with plenty of outlets and lights for keeping your boats ready to hit the water, plus a driveway with room to accommodate approximately 4 vehicles. Please note, there is an owner's closet for personal/cleaning supplies (behind the kitchen) as well as an outdoor shed which are locked and are off limits.
Other things to note
Hi Speed Fiber Wireless Internet / Wi-fi, board games, plenty of space inside and out, and Roku TV are some additional included amenities. For the Roku TV, If your favorite channel is not listed or included, you can access your account subscription or individual service provider via the hi-speed fiber internet; Some local channels are also offered.

Extra chairs are up and downstairs and a folding table is provided (in addition to the dining room table) which can be used as an office desk… or even work on the screened porch as we sometimes do :-)
For an excellent web site with a comprehensive calendar list of ongoing fishing tournaments, search for "bassinbigg" online and navigate to the tournament calendar. Our cabin is only a few miles away from so many tournament launch locations and boat ramps.
Access to private gated neighborhood boat ramp and community dock is included at no extra charge to you! There is also close proximity to fishing, golfing, shopping, boat ramps, restaurants, tournaments (8 miles to Goosepond Colony Resort & 17 miles to Guntersville City Harbor), plus a neatly maintained yard await you and your family!
