Typical Parisian flat (built in 1889) in Canal Saint Martin area.
62 m2 i.e. 670 sq ft.
We're a couple living in a 3 rooms typical Parisian flat with old wooden floors, mouldings and fireplace, at 5th floor (with elevator). The entire flat faces south, benefits from large windows and overlooks the Rothschild Foundation and the beautiful Buttes Chaumont Park. We've entirely refurbished the place when we bought it one year ago and tried to make it welcoming and cozy. There is a long balcony overlooking a green sea of high plane trees that extends to the Buttes Chaumont park. We are 5 minutes by foot to Canal Saint Martin, and Bassin de La Villette. By tube, we are 10 min. from Montmartre (5 tube stations on Line 2), and 15 minutes to the heart of Paris (7 tube stations from Chatelet on line 11).
Don't hesitate if you have any question!
- It is a non smoking flat
- No outside guest allowed
- No pets allowed
- Please leave the flat as clean as you found it
Kim & Christophe's condo was perfectly suitable for our short trip to Paris. The photos and descriptions match the condo exactly. The beautiful and famous park was just a short walk away from the residence. There are a number of super markets around and a very convenient little grocery store next door to the building. I am very appreciative of Kim & Christophe for making their beautiful condo available on airbnb for others to have a memorable experience in Paris. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
Kim an Christophe are very nice hosts, their flat is the perfect spot to discover Paris and to have a cosy and spacious space to relax. Highly recommended!
I found Chrisophe's appartment excellent. It was spacious, warm and overall very comfortable. I especially liked being able to step out onto a balcony. Christophe couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring that my stay went smoothly. The concierge too was most obliging in getting me settled in the apartment. I would highly recommend this apartment.
What a lovely flat, perfect for our short stay in Paris. Communication with Christophe was frequent and easy. Great location, with 2 metro stops close by and also only 15 minutes walk to one of our favourite areas in Paris, Canal Saint Martin, for great shops and food. This place comes highly recommended!
Christophe & Kim were great hosts, and we had a wonderful stay in their cozy and beautiful apartment. It was all very well arranged. We didn't meet the hosts in person, but the concierge helped us in a very sweet way. The communication with Christophe was fast and easy.
My son could choose between a bed sofa and a big airbed (comfortable and easy to use) in a separate room. I especially loved the morning coffee on the balcony in the sun :)
The location is perfect, especially if you travel with children. Buttes Chaumont is a lovely park, were we spent a lot of time. I highly recommend a stay and we would love to come back!
We had a fantastic stay in Christophe's apartment. Clean, comfortable and a Nespresso machine - we couldn't have asked for anything more! Communication with Christophe was flawless and he is extremely nice and helpful. The concierge who gave us our keys when we arrived was delightful also! In all, a beautiful flat in a great area of Paris. We will definitely be staying again!
We're a couple in our early thirties, both working in marketing. We absolutely love to travel, and, after living two years in London, have already done a full world trip in 2006 from South America to Oceania. We're more than happy to enable you to discover Paris from a Parisian point of view while living in a typical and comfortable Parisian flat and having the option to make the most of a very lively and welcoming neighborhood that's ideal to relax once you've been strolling around in busy and hectic Paris.
The Buttes Chaumont park area is where all the best and newest places to go out have opened in the past two years. This is a trendy artistic laid back area. The next door Buttes Chaumont park welcomes the hippest cafe / restaurant in Paris, the "Rosa Bonheur", that stays open until after the park closes (around 10 pm in summer time). You will also find right inside the park two restaurants: the Italian "Pavillon Puebla" and the newly opened French "Pavillon du lac". About 5 minutes walk from the flat, the "Canal de l'Ourcq" neighborhood is where Parisians like to get together in sunny times to play the "pétanque", have pique-nique and drinks along the borders of the canal.
