Welcome to our Shipping Container Casita, a tiny house in the heart of Old Town Albuquerque! We are located blocks from the Plaza, just off of historic Route 66! Our casita is fully furnished with luxury in mind, from a custom king sized bed, to a deep soaking tub, a private backyard with views of the Sandia Mountains, and unique efficient kitchenette with an easy to use Nespresso coffee maker for the perfect start to your day. We hope you’ll enjoy our New Mexican tiny house as much as we do!

Our casita is a 40’ long 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom shipping container, with separate parking, private keyless entry and a fenced backyard blocks from the Old Town Plaza.

Neighborhood highlights

We are in the heart of west downtown Albuquerque! There is so much to see and do in our neighborhood. We are conveniently located close to major highways and the airport. We are just a short few blocks from the Old Town Plaza. The Albuquerque BioPark and the El Vado development are at the end of our street. We are very close to Tingley Beach and the nature parks along the banks of the Rio Grande, as well as the Sawmill Market, Tiguex Park, the Albuquerque Museum, and the Explora Museum. There are tons of great local boutiques, art galleries, dining options, wineries and breweries all within walking distance too. And we are just one block off of historic Route 66, also know as Central Ave.

Hello! We are Lea and Mike. We've lived in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico for over three years, and love our charming vibrant historic Old Town neighborhood. Mike is an artist and I am an interior designer. We have four sweet, very social rescue pets; 1 little dog and 3 cats and we sometimes foster animals for our local animal shelter. We met in NYC and then moved to DC and we started hosting with Airbnb in 2014. We enjoy sharing our homes with you.
