Other things to note
Please understand the following points when you stay at our property.

・Open Fires are strictly prohibited on the premises.
・Smoking is prohibited in the house. When smoking outside, please use the designated area. Please be cautious not to start a fire in the adjacent forest.
・Fireworks are prohibited.
・We kindly ask our guests to refrain from cooking food that causes strong smell and smoke indoors.
・Pets are not allowed to stay with you.
・This is a wooden house surrounded by nature, and is not airtightness. We take measures to prevent insects from entering as much as possible, but sometimes insects appear such as (harmless) spiders. We will make Katori and insecticide available for you. Thank you for your understanding.
・When high precipitation is expected due to typhoons and other factors, we are afraid that we don't accept reservations or we make ask you to move to other safer accommodation. Arita is surrounded by rocky mountains. When it rains, water concentrates in the valleys. When the rain is heavy, the amount of water in the brook next to the house increases. Please be careful when you cross the stone bridge.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hi, I have lived in Kagata for a few years, and have been not less influenced by the life of the Kagata people who love nature. I love interacting with nature. Renovate a 130-year-old villa owned by one of the founders of the former Arita Bank and enjoy the seasonal nature of the garden. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, spend a calm time, and enjoy Arita's townscape and ceramic shop. We are doing an extension renovation that has retained the old age and at the same time has increased its inhabitability. I also enjoy the rich nature with the garden care and DIY every day. I hope you all have a great time and have a resting time. Hello, I lived in Canada for a few years and was greatly influenced by the lives of some nature-loving Canadians. Ever since, I love interacting with nature. We renovated a 130 years old villa, Villa Kaede, which was originally built as a guest house by one of the Arita bank founders. Here you can enjoy a garden full of nature and that transforms each season. Enjoy quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the quaint and historic town of Arita and visit world famous ceramic shops. We are making an effort to maintain the historical charm of the original villa but at the same time, we are extending and renovating it to make it more livable. Every day, I enjoy the abundance of nature by taking care of the garden and doing DIY work. We hope all of you will enjoy your stay and have a relaxing time. Thank you. facebook https://www.facebook.com/Villa.Kaede
