You are less than 1/2 hr to Fire Island, 1 hr to Montauk, Manhattan, Conn, little longer to Jersey Shores and the famous Mountains..
The rooms they rent, the den, the backyard for sitting and enjoying the quiet space. Others items in the house depend on the type of stay you have selected. If it is a long term stay we can discuss, just ask ---- I don't BITE!!
Interaction with Guests
I am always available to guests, and can give them as much or as little assitance as they want. This is there journey... Some guests come for private time. some for business, school, or shopping and I will guide them as best I can depending on what you're looking to do!
The town of Sayville is a beautiful walking town close by with little boutique shops. Connetequot Park ihas a great old mansion, fishing, walking and other activities, and nearby is the Planting Field Arboreteum,. You can also drive to the Fire Island Ferries which are close and and take the ferry to Fire Island and spend the day wandering around getting all sunburned, then stop for lunch at a great little seaside cafe,, or drive over to Jones Beach or if you're into golf we have a few top notch course Black Hole ?? at Westbury, where they has one of the masters tournaments with my all time favorite player Tiger Woods and don;t for the East End Wineries, and REAL Farmers Markets,and while your out traveling out east stop at Briermier Farms and get one of the most outrageous pies you've ever eaten. Yummy I'm sure I forgotten so much, and then I haven't even touched on the North Shore Gold Coast Mansions... but this is a good start!!
We have all MAJOR Roadways within 1 block to to 5 miles distance, such as Sunrise (27) Highway and Veterans (454) Hhighway to the Southern and Northern State Parkways, Montauk (27A) Highway, and Islip McArthur Airport is one Mile away, the LIRR is 3 miles away, We have some local busses that take you around to the malls, the railroad station, colleges, hospitals, etc
Other Things to Note
I love Long Island, I moved here in 1989 when we built this house... I could imagine living other places but wouldn't want to, the change of seasons, the people, the beaches, and Island itself is rich with culture and magnificence that is unmatched anywhere I've looked ot to move when considering downsizing. And I've only looked at places that were similiar to Long Island..

I am originally from Brooklyn, but live on Long Island since 1989. I currently go to school at Suffolk Community College. I am a 54 yr old widow,with a Shih Tzu, Daphne who is the most pleasant animal you will ever meet. My home is well maintained. and I look forward to making aquaintaince with new guests as they come threw my doors...
