Rustic Rooms in Historic Bankersmith, Texas. Stay on the site of the historic Texas ghost town of Bankersmith (population 0) in our original dance hall. These are rustic rooms — a comfy bed and four walls — offered at affordable rates compared to our full suites. Shared bathroom/shower with four other rooms. Wi-Fi is available on site. On-site you’ll find the Boil House & Sports Bar — seafood, Cajun boils, drinks, and casual sports fun, with seafood festivals most Saturdays. As a thank-you, guests receive one free General Admission Pass per guest to our events. Just ask Bobby for details! Across the street is Grapetown Vineyard, home to Safari Wine Tours, giraffe experiences, and over 300 exotic animals including zebras, lemurs, and capybara. This is real Hill Country farm life, not the Ritz-Carlton — come ready for fun, rustic charm, and unforgettable experiences.

WARNING: Lower your expectations. It's critical you know you are staying in a ghost town, in a one bedroom on the back of a dance hall. You will be surrounded by farm animals and critters. Do not come here for luxury, wifi or if you are high maintenance. Come here to get away.
