Rustic rooms with a deck and beautiful view! Built in an original Dance Hall on site of historic Texas town, population 0. Your deck is steps away from the milk barn and hen house. Not the Ritz Carlton! Get ready for farm life! Smells. Sounds. Sites. You are only feet from farm yard. Saloon open Wed-Sun. Lawn games. Four walls and a comfy bed. Shared bathroom and showers. Only 8 miles from downtown Fredericksburg. Food, bar, live music Wed-Sun. Wineries close. Get away!

The space
These are rustic rooms. RUSTIC. A bed and 4 walls. We offer them at cheaper rates, than our full two bedroom suites with private baths. Please don't book expecting the Ritz Carlton. These 1 bedrooms are in our Dance Hall. Shared Bathroom/Shower. You share the bathroom/shower with 4 other rooms. No WiFi. Do not come here to sit on your phone. Talk to each other. Lower your expectations and you'll be fine. On many Saturdays we do host small fun festivals. As a thank you, we provide our guests with 1 free General Admission Pass per guest! Just ask Bobby for details. The only thing we ask in return is for a fun review and maybe a photo or two on Yelp! Also....check out Grapetown Vineyard across the street from Bankersmith. They do Safari Wine Tours each Friday and Saturday and the pickup location is the Bankersmith Saloon. One of the best Wine Tours around by far!

WARNING: Lower your expectations. It's critical you know you are staying in a ghost town, in a one bedroom on the back of a dance hall. You will be surrounded by farm animals and critters. Do not come here for luxury, wifi or if you are high maintenance. Come here to get away.
