Upper Creek Cabin is a private creekfront cabin bordering Pisgah National Forest at the base of Linville Gorge. Located minutes from Lake James and 25–30 minutes to Morganton and Marion, this secluded mountain retreat offers direct forest access, hiking, waterfalls, and year-round outdoor adventure. Recently remodeled, the cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort.

The entire cabin is private and yours to call home during your stay. The portion of the creek in front of the cabin is yours to use too

Other things to note
The driveway is gravel and fairly long with a steeper portion, it has about an 18-20% grade to it. Fall 2025 the driveway has been reworked and asphalt milling installed, most vehicles make it just fine. At times the steep portion, depending on the weather, can be a little rough and low clearance vehicles could drag. AWD recommended in winter

I absolutely love the outdoors, nature and my pets. I enjoy traveling and taking in new experiences that life has to offer. Time spent with good friends and family is good for the soul. I look for just peaceful and quiet placed I am blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places in NC right at the base of the Linville Gorge situated right on the local river, Paddy’s Creek and only7 minutes from scenic Lake James. I want to share my area with others and enjoy seeing and experiencing other wonderful new places as well.
