Hello, dear guests and travelers!
I want to share with you an amazing experience of living in a wonderful place in a very heart of Moscow.
I live in the best district of Moscow, and I want to show it to my guests. This is "quiet center" — only 2.2 km to the Kremlin, 360 m to metro station, but it seems like you're in the countryside.
CLOSE TO MY HOUSE (from 100 m to 1.8 km) THERE ARE:
— Bunker-42 — an unique object of the soviet anti-missile defence located at a depth of 65 m below ground;
— Cathedral of the XV century (the oldest in Moscow), three legendary cloisters, Krutitsy Patriarchal Metochion and private museum of ortodox icons;
— Likhachev Palace — a brilliant monument of the Soviet avant-garde style;
— Taganka Theatre, Zhenovach's Theatre and museum of great russian actor and poet Vladimir Vysotsky;
— Moscow Contemporary Art Center Winzavod;
— Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building — a best one of seven stalinist skyscrapers;
— one of the last buildings of Zaha Hadid;
— two rivers, Torpedo Stadium, many clubs and cafes.
Look at my detalied guide please.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT MY HOUSE:
— a spacious and bright room (see photos);
— a new confortable bed;
— a spacious balcony where you can drink tea at summer;
— bathroom, hot water at any time of the day, washing machine, dryer;
— wi-fi, TV, library, piano (three of my guests rehearsed on it before entering to Moscow Conservatory);
— hospitable host who can give you advices how to spend your time.
— Meeting at my metro station Taganskaya-circle — for free!
— bike rental ($10 per day for one or $15 for couple);
— order an inexpensive and convenient taxi;
— breakfast ($3-$5; russian pancakes with jam or sour cream);
— buying souvenirs for you (matryoshka, vodka, shawl, samovar, Lenin, Olympic bear and something rare). Very handy if your time is limited in Moscow;
— a travel voucher to obtain an entry document (from $25 per person).
Welcome! If you will have any questions at all, please, contact me! I will be glad to help you.
NB! If you want to live in a authentic Russian village I recommend the home of my friend Maria on the road between towns of the Golden Ring Sergiev Posad, Alexandrov, Vladimir and Suzdal:
В моем доме принято соблюдать тишину в любое время суток и экономить электричество. Посещение дома вашими гостями не приветствуется, простите.
In my house decided to keep quiet and save electricity. Guests are not allowed in my home, but I can recommend you a couple of cosy cafes not far from my apartment for a coffee or dinner with friends.
