Be respectful of backyard as we share it with our generous neighbors. No loud music outside after 11. Lock up when finished. Tiffany and Chuck had been great hosts and enabled us to spend an awesome week!!! Although we arrived very late because we missed one piece of luggage at the airport, the whole family was waiting for us and we had nice conversation with all family members. The fridge was filled and even some bagels and cookies "waited". We were very happy because we all had the munchies. Tiffany and Chuck’s house was absolutely perfect for us (party of six). It was even better than we imagined by the photos – and those had been fantastic already… Tiffany made a tour with some of us through the house and explained all important items. Chuck told us about restaurants, supermarkets etc. in the neighborhood. Additionally, there was a well prepared folder with all important information about the house and the environment. Chuck even wrote an additional email to keep us informed about the fireworks at Prospect Park on New Year’s Eve. We could use four keys what was great for us six. The house was very clean and very well equipped. It is located very close to different subway stations so that we could easily move to Manhattan or the other boroughs and – of course – the airport. I could write a lot more but in short: Tiffany, Chuck, the kids and the house had been fantastic and we feel good in recommending them to all interested airbnb-friends. THANK YOU!!!!!
We had a great stay with our two small children at Tiffany and Chuck's house. The house was super clean, very well organized, and in a great location. It has great transit access but is also in the middle of some great Brooklyn neighborhoods. And our kids absolutely loved the backyard. We would definitely stay here again!
Chuck greeted us right on time and was very friendly. We had a crew of 4 kids and 4 adults and we all felt very comfortable and welcome instantly. This apartment is better in person than the listing suggests. They have renovated the downstairs bath and it is immaculate! A plus for us is the bathrooms both have heaters. The backyard is awesome and our kids had a blast. The neighbors have a trampoline that can be used in addition to the treehouse and fire pit. The neighborhood is nice too and us close to the subway and great shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Building on Bond for coffee in the morning (2 blocks) and for dinner as well. We truly felt at home here and I highly recommend this place to anyone with children.
Chuck and Tiffany's place was fantastic. Everything they wrote in their listing was spot on. The place was spotless and they provided everything from maps and things to do around town brochures to instructions on how to use the coffee maker. The bathrooms were clearly recently updated and the whole house was so comfortable for 8 of us to stay all weekend. If we were traveling with kids, this would be an ideal spot to stay, as they have everything available for little ones. Multiple subway stops are within a block or two, and the area is full of bodega's to grab a bagel sandwich at in the morning. I highly recommend staying at Chuck and Tiffany's - they were great hosts!
Chuck and Tiffany's house is wonderful and we had a fantastic time staying there - the photos really don't capture just how great it is. Their house is really comfortable and cosy with everything you could possibly need for a stay in Brooklyn. Location wise it is perfect and we even took our son trick or treating along their street which was great fun. It's really close to walk along to Smith Street and onto Cobble Hill and Brooklyn Heights and to get into Soho in Manhattan is only 2 stops on the subway. Tiffany and Chuck were brilliant hosts who gave us loads of flexibility on check in and check out which we really appreciated with our young son. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to anyone so if you are going to Brooklyn/ NYC then book it as its a real gem!
Everything was on target. Their home was clean and ready for us. Chuck was a wonderful host with lots of information about the neighborhood, transportation options and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Chuck and Tiffany's house is exactly as pictured; in fact, the pictures don't fully reflect just how comfortable their space is. We met Tiffany when we arrived, who was thorough in describing her home and details for little things (using the coffee maker, leaving the key, etc.). For being a short distance from a busy thoroughfare in Brooklyn, the house is in a quiet area (even the street-facing bedrooms didn't experience too much noise). Very family-friendly, close to subways, lots of stores and restaurants nearby, and even a playground almost right next door. We were able to find street parking fairly quickly, but it was also mid-afternoon. I definitely recommend staying here if you have a family and are looking for comfortable, clean accommodations close to everything Brooklyn has to offer. Thank you, Chuck and Tiffany!
Tiffany is a graphic designer working mom of 2 kids, ages 4 & 7. Loves her Brooklyn community and the people that live and visit there!
Chuck (Penn graduate) works as a copywriter for advertising and is incredibly handy around the house. He even built the treehouse in the backyard!
Both of us love riding bikes around the city, picnics with the family and whatever cultural events we can make room in the schedule for.
