  • Our trip started when we were greeted by Tiffany. She was very welcoming and anticipated any needs we would have while staying in Brooklyn. The property itself is beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked with whatever pots, pans, serving dishes one would need. In addition, it was both centrally located with easy access to Atlantic center, while still being quiet!

Thank you so much for everything guys :)

  • I loved staying at Tiffany and Charles' apartment! The place itself was beautiful, with an amazing patio, tons of sleeping space, and a gorgeous kitchen. Tiffany and Charles were extremely responsive and the apartment is in a great neighborhood. I could not have been happier!

  • Our family members enjoyed staying in this home. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The backyard play area was really a great hit with the grandkids and appreciated by their parents. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Most positive reviews on Airbnb seem to have a "but…" - so, "great location, the hosts were really friendly, but a bit of a distance from a food shop", for example. There is just no "but" about Chuck and Tiff's house. For us, it just had everything. We'd never visited New York at all before and it was just the perfect base for exploring near and far. We completely loved the location - our 13 year old daughter is just dying to bore her classmates to death with tales of how Brooklyn is sooooo much cooler than the rest of New York. And we just scratched the surface.

The house itself was just right for us, with a spacious and amazingly well-equipped kitchen, a really sizeable living room with a great TV/DVD/sound system, and very comfortable beds. The new walk-in shower area downstairs is absolutely immaculate and beautifully designed. More generally, the front of the building with its traditional brownstone design, just looks great, and the space to the rear (the children particularly loved the treehouse and slides) is really well kept.

Chuck and Tiff couldn't have been more helpful, from the tips about places to visit to providing details of a (thoroughly reliable) taxi firm for our early morning departure from Penn Station. Oh, and even down to which really tasty (if very strong!) beer to try on the train. Their approach is just so accommodating and relaxed - they completely took in their stride our delayed arrival from JFK. Rather than "please don't touch this", or "that piece of furniture was terribly expensive", our guided tour was long the lines of "yes, just help yourself to the contents of the fridge" and "contact us at any time".

The perfect place for us to kick off an amazing holiday. Maybe there is a "but" - it's a shame we can only give 5 stars!

    Response from Chuck & Tiffany:

Hi Mike and Rowena! This is Tiffany here. I just read your review and honestly it brought tears to my eyes (and it's not just the allergies of the season). I am so happy you all had such a lovely time and then to take the time to publicize it really gave a warm fuzzy feeling! We would really really love to come visit someday. As you might have guessed, we like England. Alot.
All the best to you and may you experience more positive airbnb adventures!

  • This apartment is AWESOME. My husband and I stayed there with my parents, sister, brother in law and 18 month old nephew, and we all loved it. My nephew in particular enjoyed the toys and books. The apartment is very close to the major subway lines, and Manhattan is just a short subway ride away. Plus there are lots of cute shops within walking distance. In particular, we like Betty Bakery for coffee and yummy baked goods in the morning. I would highly recommend this place for anyone in NY, in particular if you're visiting with family or children.

  • Tiffany and Chuck opened their amazing home to my group of friends for the weekend. The house is in a great location with easy access to Manhattan and plenty of bars and restaurants in Brooklyn. The backyard is a huge bonus to hang out in. While it was a little colder when we were there, in the summer time it would be a great spot to have a bbq! Thanks so much for your hospitality!

  • Accueil parfait. La masion est très bien placée : 2 minutes à pied du métro et 20 minutes de time square.
la maison est très bien équipée et Tiffany nous a donné plein de renseignements pratiques. Je les recommande vivement !

  • We had a wonderful stay at Tiffany and Chuck's beautiful home. It was just perfect for our family of 5. The place is spacious and perfectly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The sofa-bed is really comfy and quite large. But the kids' beds are not that comfy for adults but probably perfectly fine for kids. The area is calm at night. And you can access multiple metro lines.

The communication with both Tiffany and Charles was friendly and super easy. And they managed to fit with our schedule for check-in and check-out. Thanks to the hosts, we felt like we were at home. Highly recommended!

About
Tiffany is a graphic designer working mom of 2 kids, ages 4 & 7. Loves her Brooklyn community and the people that live and visit there! Chuck (Penn graduate) works as a copywriter for advertising and is incredibly handy around the house. He even built the treehouse in the backyard! Both of us love riding bikes around the city, picnics with the family and whatever cultural events we can make room in the schedule for.
