This little get-a-way is perfect for a nice Tahoe experience. The house was clean, cosy, and the hot tub worked wonderfully. The BBQ was also very nice to use. I would definitely recommend staying here!!!
The reservation was canceled 16 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My husband, a friend and I spent the Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin and had a very fun trip. We really enjoyed the hot tub and having the grill and outside area. The cabin has a good kitchen and living room area. Some things could be a bit better, such as lighting (it was hard to find the lights upstairs, the stairs don't have a light, and some lamps didn't work or were unplugged), and cleanliness (e.g., the dishwasher was full of used dishes, with food remains on them, so we never used it). All in all though, we had a great time and would recommend the cabin for a group of friends looking to spend a fun weekend in Tahoe. The location is amazing and the cabin is very charming. Communication with Brenda was easy and straight forward.
Brenda made us feel welcome and was a quick responder to our questions regarding the hottub. I loved how cozy and authentic the house felt, the all wood fixtures makes this cabin look and feel great. It was a little smaller than the photos made it seam but for a couple its the perfect size.
Great location! Walking distance to The Tahoe City beach and restaurants, and a quick 5 min bike/drive into town. Everything listed is accurate. There is only a single loft and a small pull out couch, so not ideal for more than 1 couple. The house was quaint and cozy. My only complaint is that the deck could have cleaned off a little better.
It is very important to us to provide a clean and well-maintained cabin for all our guests. Please let us know at your arrival if something is not up to your satisfaction and we will do everything in our power to make it right for you. We do not live at the property so we have to rely on a cleaning crew for accuracy and feedback.
However, there are things beyond our control, for instance:
1. When the wind blows the trees, pine needles will fall and land on a previously cleaned deck at any time of day.
2. Neighbors repairs-construction in the area is unavoidable and may impede serenity.
3. During June and July there is a lot of pollen falling from the trees and we do our best to clean it but some may coat the deck/grill or blow into the house beyond our control (some have noticed this dust under a bed/
on the deck)
4. We also cannot control the guest actions before
you and might not be aware of things like: A previous guest may have accidentally
put a hole in a screen, or left the hot tub in an unsanitary condition or may
not have followed the house rules and left without cleaning food off the BBQ, which
is VERY important to avoid attracting bears.
5. Most homes in Tahoe, like ours, are left natural and don’t have grassy/watered yards but we do provide a nice desk.
All of these things have been used as reasons to lower ratings for our cabin in the past and while most are simply unavoidable, we hope and would appreciate hearing from you privately if a minor item was not up
to your satisfaction so that we can fix or explain the issue. Thanks so much for your understanding. We hope you enjoy Tahoe and all it has to offer.

We are family of 5 and love Tahoe & Sausalito. We like to be able to walk to water and bike or hike in the mountains. Both Sausalito and Tahoe offer that in a snap. A morning stand up paddle and then hike or bike in the hills with great food and music nearby and then cozy up to a fire in the fireplace when back home. Enjoy horseback riding or a boat ride, all at our finger tips. Music & Art Festivals. Sausalito and/or Tahoe are the answer . Welcome to our neighborhood...our home.
