Our time at Carole's was lovely! We were tucked away from all noise & hunkered down with the sheep! It was our first experience with using coins for electricity, but it worked well. It would have been nice to have a few food staples stocked--like coffee, tea, etc,--but we found the SuperValu quickly. All in all, we had a great time in the house & in Dingle!

Carole was a very kind host. She met us upon arrival and explained the in's and outs's of the apartment. The photos and description were accurate and it was a about a 5-10 minute drive to town center, perfect for a quiet nights sleep. I would recommend arriving during the day as the place could be tricky to find after dark and look for landmarks around the entrance once you do find it as it will be helpful when returning after an exciting day of exploring Dingle. Overall, it was a great stay for our party of three!

I found Carole's place to be a comfortable home to spend a weekend in Dingle. It's a short drive to town, and most of the other attractions on the Dingle peninsula can be reached within about 20 minutes. Very quiet, dark, and peaceful at night. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the beds. which contrasted with the more rustic feel of the rest of the home. The two other people I was traveling with felt that the home felt musty, and said that the air irritated their lungs a bit. Visitors with sensitive lungs may want to be mindful of that. Personally, I did not find it to be a problem. I think that the house would be a bit crowded with six people. It seems to be best suited for a group of four or so. Carole was very responsive to to my questions and requests. She gave me a very thorough introduction into the special instructions needed to use certain appliances, and gave me a number of suggestions for local businesses and attractions to visit.

We loved the location that was off the beaten path and away from (but not too far from) the crowded downtown. Good space for a family with all the amenities like an extra sunroom to enjoy morning coffee.

Nice cottage a short drive from Dingle ($15 cab ride). The electric box is easy to work and doesn't cost much, even with doing a couple loads of laundry we only used 3 or 4 euros for two days. Wifi is another $3 per day extra. I booked for 4 adults (one couple and two singles) assuming I was getting the full three bedrooms but upon arriving I had to pay extra to get the third bedroom unlocked. Carole is nice, thorough and keeps up the communication so that is very helpful. This is a self-catering cottage in the fullest sense so no tv, radio, jam in the fridge etc.

This is a sweet little farm house away from the noise yet close to town. The sheep are right there and it was fun to listen to them. We are a family of 4 so we loved having 2 bathrooms and space to eat. It was extremely clean and the beds were comfy. Carole is very sweet and informative. Great place to stay while visiting Dingle.

I like to walk and I live in a beautiful part of Ireland where we have sea, mountains, streams and an abundance of wild flora which make for very pleasant and interesting places to walk. I look forward to seeing our guests enjoy the area, it's history, it's culture and all it has to offer.
