The space

We would like to welcome you to our cosy, comfortable, renovated farmhouse, set in peaceful surroundings, 3kms from Dingle town centre and 100mts up from the main Dingle Slea Head road on a private farm lane. It is a haven to enjoy tranquility and a connection with nature and benefits from a southern aspect. You can wake up to the sounds of the birds and the breeze. It is a place to relax and unwind and leave stress at the door yet still stay in touch with the wider world as we now have a limited wifi facility, for reasonable use and at a cost of 3 euro per day.
There is a bathroom, a kitchen cum dining area and living area. The kitchen contains a fridge, hob unit, oven, microwave, kettle, a washing machine and a clothes dryer. Please do not overload the washing machine or clothes dryer as they may be put out of use for the next clients to use the house. An iron is available on request. The living area has a solid fuel room heater range and electric central heating for the winter months. The conservatory looks out on the lawn.
There are 3 bedrooms - 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. The basic cost shown on this listing is for up to 2 guests/1 bedroom, up to 4 guests/2 bedrooms and up to 6 guests/3 bedrooms. The house accommodation is limited to 6 guests. Only the number of guests, for whom the Reservation is made, are allowed to stay in the house.
Check-in time is 5pm. If 5pm does not suit you then please contact me and we will arrange a time which is suitable to both of us. This is important.
Checkout time is 10am.
The popular harbour town of Dingle will delight you with it's many amenities - fishing port and harbour, marina and aquarium. Boat trips around the harbour and to see Fungie, our resident dolphin, are available. There are many areas of historical and archaeological interest in Dingle and around the Dingle Peninsula. Restaurants, craft shops and pubs are many in number. Irish traditional music can be heard in many locations. You can hear our native Gaelic language in use.
Should you wish to travel to Tralee or the lakes of Killarney or even the Ring of Kerry you will find that this house can be used as a suitable base. Popular places to see west of Dingle are the Blasket Islands, Dunquin, Slea Head, Gallarus Oratory and many beautiful beaches such as Ventry, Clogher and Coumeenole. To the north lie Mount Brandon, Connor Pass and the Maharees and to the East is Inch Beach which featured in Ryan's Daughter.
We have local knowledge which is available to you.
This is not a party house.
No Stag or Hen Parties.
Smoking is not allowed in the house.
We cannot allow pets as the house is on a farm.

wow! how amazing is this sweet little holiday farmhouse. im not sure the pictures or description even do it justice. it was such a sweet little house, with a lovely kitchen, fireplace, and all the amenities one would need. you do need to feed the electricity meter and remember to flip switches for power, but everything was easy and convenient. very close to downtown dingle town. precious sheep neighbors. we were a group of six so renting the entire house was a perfect option for us. lots to see and do nearby; great location. also the host carole is very sweet and lovely. would highly recommend this house as well as dingle! already hoping to return soon!

Lovely place about five minutes outside of Dingle. We had two adults and three children stay here very comfortably. Great location from which to explore the Dingle peninsula. I wish we had had more than two nights. With laundry and bathing and cooking for five people, we averaged a little bit under four euro per night for electricity.

This quaint farmhouse was a perfect location for my sisters and I to enjoy the Dingle Penisula. We enjoyed the quiet of the mornings watching the sheep in the pasture next door. When we wanted to enjoy pubs & nightlife we took a short taxi drive to town. Thanks Carole for a lovely place to stay.

Carole's place was great for a relaxing stay in the Dingle peninsula! The house is spacious and cozy, and the surrounding area is beautiful farm lands. It is a little far from town, and the narrow/busy road makes walking anywhere a little difficult. But, we were able to call for a taxi into town for the night we didn't want to drive. The pay-per-use electricity wasn't a problem at all (we spent 6 euros for our two night stay), and the stove kept the place perfectly warm - plus it was nice to sit around! Carole was very nice and incredibly helpful getting us settled into the house. Would definitely recommend her place as a home base for the Dingle peninsula area!

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at Carole's house that is close enough to Dingle town to get to easily, but also far enough away to be quiet and private. Communication with Carole was perfect and we had no issues with anything during our stay.
