AMAZING VIEWS! Blue Ridge Mountain and Lake Chatuge views, great location close to SO much. Start and end the day amidst the trees. Let the birds provide the music. Don't be surprised to see deer come out and around from the national forest behind us. Great mountain community to walk. Enjoy a fire and toast marshmallows at the pit, sit back and enjoy why the mountains called you. Minutes away from shopping, restaurants, golf, pickleball, fairgrounds, hiking, lake rentals and so much more.

The space
Work, Play, Hike, Dine, Wine, Go Fish, White Water Raft, Shop, Sleep Late, Repeat!

Cozy yet spacious. A romantic place for couples or memories for the whole family. Close to numerous day excursions including Helen and Blue Ridge. Check out events at the Georgia fairgrounds or live music at most of the many bars and restaurants. End each day mountain view. Inquire about reduced cleaning fee for two or fewer guests, three nights or less.

Each deck offers Blue Ridge Mountain and LakeChatuge views. Outdoor areas for grilling, relaxing, and of course time under the stars at the firepit. Have another cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the upper deck with the sound of birds and the feeling of being in the trees. Enjoy picnic space on the lower, and reading on the side. So much space, inside and out. New listing but an experienced super host. Now, let's go inside for farmhouse charm and character with modern amenities.

Once in, you'll find spacious areas to relax and unwind. The large kitchen is stocked with amenities. Traditional and Keurig coffee, and you'll find starter pods and snacks to welcome you. The dining area awaits for family dinner or early breakfast. Enjoy the large sunroom and cozy furnishings to chat, read or grab a puzzle or game. When it's time for a bit of late-night TV, enjoy the two large couches with recliners in front of the 50" TV. The gas fireplace is toasty and a wonderful way to end the evening. Romance? Retire to comfortable bedding and linens in this newly furnished home, or enjoy a bubbly jacuzzi bath before bed. In the morning, maybe you'll decide to take advantage of the wellness cubby and stretch out, meditate or take in some yoga. If you need to get that work time out of the way, you'll find a dedicated office space for your remote working. Heading to the lake? We've left towels and a picnic basket with amenities for your day.

Where you’ll be

Hiawassee, Georgia, United States

You'll love the convenience of this location. Roads are paved all the way up to the property. Just outside of the entrance are marinas and lakefront restaurants on Lake Chatuge. You'll find two fun places close by, The Sandbar and The Marina Station, both have good food and live music. Cross the road to rent your pontoon at one of the marinas, or enjoy an event at the Georgia Fairgrounds less than two miles away. Spend the day hiking and then take in a bottle of wine at one of the nearby vineyards or wineries. You won't have to go far for groceries with Ingles just down the street. Antique shopping and boutiques are also abundant. This mountain property is SO convenient to downtown Hiawassee, Hayesville, Blairsville, Bell Tower, Blue Ridge, and Helen. We love the restaurants (try Brothers for steak and the Sundance and Mary's for a great breakfast!) catching family music downtown on the weekends or a concert or event two miles away at the Georgia fairgrounds. Golf is around the corner on public courses. Don't feel like going that far? Have a pizza delivered or take in dinner at one of many restaurants from BBQ (of course) to fine dining. You'll find many suggestions in our house book for things we've discovered and recommend.

The main reason we chose Hiawassee is because of how centrally located it is! Blue Ridge is 45 minutes away. Enjoy a food tour in Helen with a beautiful drive up and back. Murphy is an adorable town with so much to do. Head to flea markets in Blairsville. Other areas of interest include Chattahoochee National Forest, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Brasstown Bald Mountain, Anna Ruby Falls, Lake Rabun, and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.

No matter where your day takes you, heading back up Ramey mountain will be a highlight of your visit.

Happy. Unending search to find things that are peaceful, and so we found NestledInn. This space is so wonderful! I am a bit competitive so I seek to make our cabin different and better. It makes me happy to hear how excited guests are to experience the cabin, and happier when they leave and tell me how it exceeded their expectations. Please let me know if you have any questions!
