Stace was very organized and the house was spotless, incredibly bright, and spacious.
Our party of 11 loved the location, the kitchen, the game room, the many, many decks, and the sunshine and beach close by. It was perfect!
Our only quibble was that Internet was slow -- but we were a group of 11 using it as a work retreat, so there were times when we all had to be online simultaneously.
We just had the greatest ladies weekend up at Northern Lights! The open floor plan was really wonderful for our group of twelve. Some of us could be cooking, some making drinks while the others lounged around the spacious living room. Just beautiful! I would highly recommend it.
Northern Lights is a great location for a larger group, nearby gorgeous Dillon Beach. It's roomy, well stocked and equipped. Fireplaces are wonderful additions for sitting around playing games and eating.
Couple things: There's only room for four cars, so we carpooled and moved the overflow cars about .5 miles away. Also, the ocean is not seen from the front windows because there are houses in front, and there is no direct path to the beach from the house because of the condo rules. All in all, our group really enjoyed our time away at Dillon Beach.
Northern Lights was a beautiful home for a relaxing girls weekend. It's a bit remote, but if you're looking to just unwind and catch up with good friends, it's perfect. The home was roomy enough that our party of 12 weren't on top of each other. Tons of balconies and different common areas to use. We went in mid-August, and the fog was much heavier than we had expected, which obscured the lovely view from the house. Sunsets were spectacular though.
Amenities at the house were great - large kitchen, great entertainment systems, and just generally great ambiance. Only could have been better with a hot tub.
Stace and everyone at Dillon Beach Property Mgmt were great to work with. There was one small issue with our stay - the gas connection to the house was for some reason disconnected so we couldn't use the stove or get any hot water our first night, but a repairman was sent first thing on Saturday morning to rectify the issue.
