There is also a washer + dryer + ironing board and iron available for your use. Internet access will also be provided.
The apartment is exactly 9-minutes from the West Trenton train station, if you wish to get to Philadelphia and 12-minutes to the Trenton train station, which is perfect for getting to New York.
The apartment is on the ground floor, so no elevator necessary; no lugging around your luggage upstairs, so there's no worry about any heavy lifting.
For short-term guests (1 week max), you are welcome to have breakfast: cereal, eggs, English muffin, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt and bagels, and cream cheese.
General distance from some key locations
10 to15-minutes to Princeton (by car)
45-minutes to Philadelphia (by car - I've gotten there in less, but depends on traffic); 1-hour to Philadelphia on the SEPTA train
1 hr to NYC by Amtrak, 1.5 hours to NYC by NJ Transit train, a little under 1.5 hours by car.
I love the view and the lights that shine in here! I get to see deer, rabbits, and there's a random black cat that occasionally pops up outside. The apartment is spacious and comfortable - I am sure you will love your stay here!
There's just a few house rules to follow to keep the place clean and fresh:
- Please leave the room as tidy as when you arrived.
- No shoes on the carpet; shoes are left inside on the shoe rack by the front door
- No smoking in the apartment. I'm on the ground floor; if you desperately need to go out for a smoke, it won't be a big hassle to go outside.
- No pets; while I love animals, I just need the apartment to stay nice and clean.
Amira went out of her way to make us feel very welcome. She gave us a warm, friendly greeting; full access to the kitchen and dining room; lots of breakfast choices; good conversation but also respectful of our privacy.
Her listing was accurate; the pictures showed the accommodation and surroundings very accurately. The apartment was extremely clean. The view of the area outside is quite pleasant and restful.
Amira is a remarkable and conscious Hostess.
She maintains a spotless apartment with a very large room that has to have the most comfortable bed in North America.
She is caring and meticulous about your safe arrival, and her greeting is nothing short of welcoming you home.
Ewing is quite opened planned area with remarkably close access to the I-95. Less than 20 minutes to New Hope along the shores of the Delaware River.
Amira is a great host. She's responsible and helpful. Her room is gorgeous! You would feel very comfortable staying at her place. You would have one big bedroom with your bathroom next to the bedroom. Everything in the bedroom and bathroom is clean and nice. Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and hand soap are provided. Amira thought of every details she could help with your traveling which made it easy for traveling to a different place. Breakfast is provided too. You can even do laundry. Even though you travel to a new place, you feel like you are at home. Amira is very helpful. You could ask any question to her and she's there to help. Maybe you can do gym with her sometime. I would highly recommend you staying at her place when you want to explore New Jersey, New York City and Philadelphia. Best location and easy transportation.
I had a really nice stay in Amira's apartment. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. Amira was out of town when I arrived so her other guests / roommates let me in. I stayed in Amira's large, clean and comfortable room with an attached master bathroom all to myself. The kitchen was very nice. I cooked my meals every day. The apartment is located in part of a large, luxury condo development tucked into a Corporate park. The other guests in the apartment were a young husband and wife who had once been airbnb guests of Amira's who had decided to stay long term as roommates. They were very pleasant and kept to their portion of the apartment. Each bedroom was like a studio apartment unto itself. I did have a chance to chat for a few hours with them. Very enjoyable. The apartment was very very clean, had a minimum of furniture (which enhanced it's spaciousness), was very large, carpeted, etc... Full size washer and dryer inside the unit was very convenient. I used my GPS to find the place. It was about 5 minutes off I-95 North. It was a good location from which to visit Princeton, New Jersey and also to visit Newtown, Pennsylvania...about 10 miles from each city. Ewing is almost a rural township. A very quiet isolated place if your'e used to city-living. One definitely has to have a car to get around. The public transportation is non-existant.
My only complaint was not receiving a set of keys to the apartment. Amira's roommates had the key and kept them. I was required to call them whenever I wanted into the apartment. If the couple were not there they had to drive back to let me into the apartment. This is the first time in the 5 or 6 times I've used AirBnB, where the host did not give me a key so I could come and go as I needed. I felt somewhat restricted in my visit as some of my tourist wanderings would keep me out until late and then I'd have to wake the roommates to ask to be let in. Very awkward. I think that also on the AirBnB confirmation I received, the apartment / condo number was not specifically stated so when I arrived I had to drive around the complex and call the host's roommates to ask which building and apartment I was looking for. Other than these two issues, my overall experience was excellent. I am giving 5 stars because the PROs heavily outweigh the CONs. I would also highly recommend staying at Amira's place and would consider staying there again.
About the Host, Amira

Favorite travel destination: I think I would have to put Kashmir at the top of my list (sooo beautiful!)
Next on the list of where I'm dying to go and haven't been yet: Brazil
Favorite books: The Time Traveler's Wife, Life of Pi, The Tipping Point, The Drunkard's Walk (How Randomness Rules our Lives), The Kite Runner, Shantaram and many others

Favorite food: Don't have a favorite, I like trying new things, love American, Italian, Indian, Pakistani, Middle Eastern, Japanese, Mexican food...and many more (there's nothing I've tried that I particularly don't like)
My style of travel: My favorite style is spontaneous (I used to be really big on planning - it's so much more fun when it's not too well-planned out, as long as it's not a huge group of people)
To have me as a host: Hmm..well we'll have to see. But I would hope to at least break bread/share a meal with my guests :)
