Host is a graphic designer/artist; very friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood and Boston. .
The cat (Trudy) is a small Siamese, very sociable. She has promised to do her best to make you feel at home.
The rules in my home include: No smoking...though I have a lovely garden in which you may enjoy a cigarette, cigar or pipe; I have ashtrays.
No pets; Unfortunately Trudy's name is on the deed and she instituted that one!
No cooking after 8 PM, unless you want to be joined by Trudy and myself.
No noise after 11 pm: Actually I'm usually asleep by then, and unless you blow a bull horn in my ear, I won't hear you.
Please respect my ancient plumbing by not blasting the shower..make the whole house shake.
I couldn't expect more. Leslie's place, which is situated in a quiet neibourhood 10 min walk from centre Newton, is clean, well organized and allowed me the privecy i was looking for. Lesley was more then happy to help me with all my qestions and at the same time gave me the space and freedom i needed. I had many meetings to attend and this was very helpful. She also offerd to pick me up from the airport for a very reasonable price.
So thank you lesley for all of that, I am sure to be back again.
All the Best
Leslie went out of her way to make my stay pleasant, including getting up early on the morning of the Boston Marathon and driving me to the subway so I wouldn't have to walk. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet. Since I was there mainly to run, I enjoyed being able to rest and relax without interruption. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but this room turned out to be one of the nice surprises that I encountered during my trip to Boston.
