Other things to note
Getting to the chalet could be bit of a fun adventure itself! it's located at the top of the mountain, and it's an steep gravel road, ideally arriving while there is still daylight would be much easier for you. AWD, 4x4, or tire chains are required during inclement weather (ice, snow, heavy rain)
-State-issued photo ID required before check-in (insurance requirement).
-Regular pest control is performed, but because the cabin is surrounded by woods near Shenandoah National Park, you may encounter insects both outdoors and occasionally indoors. The most common are flies, stink bugs, ladybugs, and sometimes wasps. These insects are harmless and more of a nuisance than a threat. For comfort, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed to minimize their presence inside.

- Basic condiments (spices, oil) are provided on a pay-it-forward basis
