Ottimo ambiente, cordiale e accogliente. Ottima posizione facile da raggiungere.
Patrizia and I were in contact via WhatsApp before my flight arrival which was really helpful. Checking in was quite entertaining as we do not speak each other's languages. However, we were still able to communicate (I believe she even said in Italian: "We can't talk but we can still understand one another!" and we had a good laugh about that), and she showed me the room, breakfast nook, keys, wifi, etc. The neighborhood is only a 10 minute walk north of Piazza del Popolo. To no fault of Patrizia or Casa Ciambue, my only complaints are that they were doing construction in the unit next door throughout the day (think chisel on marble) and the other AirBNB room had a family with two loud and curious children who were up and about early in the morning. Otherwise, it was a very lovely and uneventful (in a good way!) stay. Rome is gorgeous but also hot and busy. I loved having a place to come home to at the end of a long day of exploring.
Superb place in a quaint location in central Rome. Very close to all modes of public transport. Patrizia is a great host, even though she speaks predominantly Italian. She made sure all the arrangements were perfect and was very accommodating. Erica (working with her) provided some great tips for travel within Rome.
Patrizia was a great host, the room is very comfy, extremely well located (within walking distance to Villa Borghese park and Piazza del Popolo). The room is cleaned every 3 days and all is provided for breakfast plus a small fridge to store your food. Bathroom was very nice, as well. I would definitely recommend for someone who wants to stay a few days in Rome!
Patrizias home is a lovely place to stay! It is in a good neighborhood with some places to eat around, and directly down the street from piazza del popolo. I was able to walk to the Vatican and the colosseum easily! The best part was meeting her daughter who was kind enough to invite me out with her friends a few times, and it was so much fun! I only saw patrizia once or twice, but she is very nice too. The only thing that I didn't like was sometimes at night someone was smoking in the living room and it made my room smell really bad, as I am not a smoker I am bothered by this, but I just put the towel between the door and the floor and it seemed to block that out mostly. I would recommend this house! Good people and good location!
