  • Our host was great! This studio is perfectly located in a very walkable neighborhood which was great for a small family. Nath was very thoughtful and considerate in setting up the space for young children. I would definitely come back to stay and would recommend this place for other fellow travelers to Montreal.

    Thanks Christophe.

  • The studio is part of a "Gite", and is located on the ground floor of a building at the corner of de bullion and napoleon.

It could hardly be better located. I stayed there for 3 nights last week, and loved being able to walk to St-Laurent and grab good coffee and food right around the corner. There's also a dep (corner store) literally right around the corner.

I'm suspecting the only problem guests will have with this place is that it can get loud:
    1) particularly for those not used to being "walked on" as is common in Montreal homes. Floors are thin, and so the minute somebody stumps you can not only hear it but feel it too. Other guests (not used to this) woke me up a few times.
    2) The studio is on the ground floor (see the corner blue door in this pic: (website hidden)) and so naturally it happened once or twice that guests and passerby just sat down on the stairs and started chatting. I could hear it just as well as if they were in my living room.

I'm saying this because the Studio is an excellent choice if you want to experience Montreal right, but you should know what to expect. This isn't a hotel, and it doesn't cost nearly as much either. The wifi was good, the location was amazing, the kitchen had sufficient supply, and the bed was comfortable.

I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

  • Incredibly responsive to a last-minute request on a Friday! The whole experience was lovely! Great location, clean and tidy, very professional. Parking is difficult as always in this neighbourhood so be prepared. :)

  • The place itself was great, the location perfect (just a couple of blocks from Schwartz's), and Christophe was fabulously helpful, arranging help to shovel me out after a foot of snow fell. There's no noise on the streets or from passing traffic, since there's little of that in this corner of the Plateau. The bed was cozy, the towels were absorbent, and you really can't ask for more.
However, all the houses in this neighborhood are built out of cardboard, so you will hear people walking above you and on the stairs. This isn't the fault of anyone here, but rather the developers who (shabbily) constructed this fabulous neighborhood.
