Or catch the Metro from the airport and get off at Kongens Nytorv - then take Bus 1A (direction: Hellerup) and jump off Aarhusgade about 100 meters from the apartment. You can use the same ticket (3 zones) for both Metro and Bus. It is easy and fast.
Thank you Bjarke for letting us stay in your great apartment!
Everything was as described, the flat is as photographed- minimally furnished, nice big bedroom, light and bright, with artfully arranged objects and a good selection of art & design books.
Everything was nice and clean, the shower worked well and the kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfy too.
Bjarke responded quickly to my messages, and gave us helpful info about finding his flat, and about the local neighbourhood. We also were really pleased that we were able to stay at such short notice too.
The neighbourhood has a good selection of shops - bakery, bars, supermarket etc. You can catch the bus from one end of the street, and the train from the other, or walk into the city.
Essentially we had a perfect break - an ideal place to stay, a great city, and a really friendly host.
We had a wonderful stay at Bjarke's apartment. We didn't realise what a fantastic neighborhood we would be staying in but it turned out there were several cool gastropub type places around the corner where we ate a late dinner when we arrive. The apartment is in a lovely quiet part of the city with large streets. The apartment was neat and sparsely decorated leaving space for our large suitcase. We loved the way Bjarke decorated his place--it was real Scandinavian style. There are books about photography and design scattered around the apartment. We rented bikes which meant it was a short ten minutes into the very heart of Copenhagen. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had great water pressure. Bjarke was away when we visited so he had a friend show us in. He was a wonderful host who answered all of our various questions. We would recommend highly to all!
Bjarke's apartment is quintessentially Scandinavian and his choice of minimal and eclectic furnishings is to be appreciated. The rooms are uncluttered which meant there was plenty of room for our luggage. Small things like having two sets of keys and an i-pod input cable were welcome. Importantly for this area the apartment has a large bathroom and great shower!
The location is perfect, max. 10 minutes to the city center by train or bus. Locally there are good bars, cafes, parks, shops and the lakes. Downstairs there's a bistro, cocktail bar and a very local bar where you can play backgammon.
Bjarke was good at communication and offered some tips, based on things I like to do, before I arrived. Bjarke couldn't be there for my requested check in time, but suggested a good cafe for coffee round the corner from his place for an hour or so before we met up. His photos of his space are accurate – he has some great furniture, it's light and clean. He showed me around his place and helped me find a bus route to get back into the town centre. I later discovered, that its only a 30 min walk down the canals to get back home and I would highly recommend this walk back. I had a couple of extra requests that Bjarke was more than happy to help with. Nice flat, friendly host good communication.
The flat was very nice ans clean. We didn't see Bjarke but he answered all our questions. we do not regret our choice !!

The apartment was clean and tidy, as shown on photos. Communication was good with Bjarke. I would stay again. Thank you.
Bjarke's apartment is a very nice stay in Copenhagen. The relaxed neighbourhood around has everything you need: a supermarket, a lovely bakery, bars, restaurants and parks. You can get to the city centre very fast by bus and S-train or you can even walk there.
The apartment itself is amazing. There are tons of interesting books and Bjarke left a us a cool movie on DVD. So there a lot of things to do even if you stay inside where you can have a sit in the light and stylish livingroom.
Overall I would totally recommend this appartment to everyone who just wants to have a good time in Copenhagen.
Bjarke's place is such a nice, clean & cosy apt esp. for a couple, in a very nice neighborhood in CPH, full of shops around and about 20 min walk to the city centre. Moreover there is a fantastic bakery at the corner which is apparently one of the best in the city. Unfortunately since Bjarke was away for vacation we didn't have chance to meet in person, but he took care of everything before leaving. By the way I found Copenhagen a quite expensive city, yet an interesting one.
