Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this private campsite nestled by the brook in the mountains of southern Vermont. So many adventures await you. Hiking, swimming, fishing , lake, covered bridge and so much more all within walking distance of the campsite. Rustic, remote off grid camping. Pets welcome. You will be experiencing nature at its best. We do have bugs, spiders, ants, turtles, frogs, Garter snakes etc. at

The space
This is our rustic cabin tent, the frame is post and beam giving it a cabin feel. Best suited for 2 guest. Full size bed and a propane heater for those chilly nights (seasonal .). Private water access, fire pit with seating, kitchen and everything you need for campfire cooking! Enjoy staying in nature at its best!
Outhouse and solar shower house (no hot water). No power, completely off grid!

Guest access
Guest parking is at 3700 state forest rd Townshend Vt 05353 by the kayaks. Camps are only Accessible with 4 wheel drive and good undercarriage clearance. For guest that do not have 4 wheel drive, we will get you to camp with our side by side.

Other things to note
This is a rustic camping experience. Everything is off grid and you will be staying with nature at its best. We do have bugs, ants, spiders etc. we do use natural Deterrent to help. But please be aware that they are there and you will see them from time to time. AT&T is the only cell service that works here, but we do have WiFi at our office for checking messages etc
