Kari Jo is an excellent communicator, location of the home is safe and walkable to Leonard's, amazing views from the lanai to Diamond head and city lights, delicious apple bananas directly grown from the backyard, ono grinds nearby (like Fort Ruger Market), comfortable bedding, and very clean home! I would love to stay here again! A hui hou Kari! Mucho mahalo!
We really enjoyed our stay! It's perfect if you want to be close to Waikiki and the action, but don't actually want to stay smack in the middle of that area.
The house is plenty of room for two couples and a baby. It's nicely furnished and the kitchen has the basics for what you'd need on a vacation. We also loved having the grill. There's a really nice backyard and private front yard. The house is in a quiet residential area, close to lots of great local eats (Leonard's! Waiola Shave Ice!)... We walked often to Kuhio Beach Park, but note that Kapahulu is a very busy street.
The final note I'd say is to just remember that the cleaning fee and tax is an additional cost on top of the rental.
Mahalo to Kari and her nice house for our wonderful vacation!

Originally from South Padre Island, TX, I moved to the Hawaiian Islands in 2001. Hawaii is an amazing place with perfect weather, a beautiful ocean, fresh and delicious food and a great culture based on family first and sharing love and kindness. My favorite pastimes include surfing, stand up paddleboarding, outrigger canoeing, hiking, cooking, spending time with good friends and family members and traveling. I am a physical therapist by trade and now work as a Long Term Care Consultant.
