The space

Good value, but compact room with self-catering, 30-45 mins from Central London.

You have access to a fridge and kettle in the kitchen and instant hot water.

There's a small wardrobe for clothes hanging needs.

It's a compact but clean and tidy room near Wimbledon Chase station.

Check in is flexible most days but not all of them, as I sometimes will need to be out.

Parking is free in nearby streets like: Dennis Park Crescent, Burstow Road, Whatley Avenue, Canonhill Lane, Sprinfield Avenue.

The flat is located 1-2 minutes away from a Tesco supermarket, a 24hr Marks & Spencer and there's also a co-op supermarket. Waitrose and even more supermarkets and are 10 minutes walk away or 2 minutes by bus.

There are also a selection of good restaurants and take aways in the local and wider area. I can advise which ones you should try.

The location is a 2 minutes train ride, or a 4 minute bus ride from Wimbledon town centre, which is on the District Line. Alternatively, you can walk in around 15 mins.

Postcode/Zip code: SW20 8LS

Buses to the Northern line (Morden or South Wimbledon) leave every 10 mins and take around 5 minutes to arrive.

The neighbourhood is generally very quiet. I have good quality double glazing so it is nice and cosy inside.

Guest access

Bathroom with good quality shower with 24 hour hot water, kettle, fridge. No cooking utensils.

Interaction with guests

As little, or as much as necessary and appropriate.

The neighborhood

Closeness to train station and supermarkets (2 mins walk). Wimbledon Common is great for a wander and places like Wimbledon have reasonable nightlife and restaurants. Waterloo on the South Bank is just 25 mins from Wimbledon Chase by train.

Getting around

Very convenient. Multiple bus routes and train connections are on the doorstep. It only takes about 20 minutes to get to zone 1 (Waterloo)

Other things to note

Parking is free after 6.30pm in the evenings and on the weekends.

Parking is also free 24 hrs in nearby streets like: Dennis Park Crescent, Burstow Road, Whatley Avenue, Canonhill Lane, Sprinfield Avenue.

Response from James:
Unfortunately, I had to cancel a booking for the first time out of about 200 due to a sudden change in circumstances. This is not something that can happen often.

Very good experience, James is a very nice person. He helped me to find my way from the airport and to get back there as well. The neighborhood is quiet and you can find everything you need. Plus, there are lots of public transports arround James's place.

James welcomed me and showed me around the flat. Very easy check in procedure. The room is small but perfect for a base if you're a single traveller. Close enough to walk to Raynes Park or Wimbledon station and easy access to the west end. The kitchen and bathroom are clean. Very good value for money
