Good value but small room with self-catering, 30-45 mins from Central London.
I will accept short stays of 1-4 days, but that usually incur a surcharge.
You have access to a kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge, freezer, hob, microwave, and of course a bathroom with a power shower.
There's a small wardrobe for clothes hanging needs.
It's a compact but clean and tidy room near Wimbledon Chase station.
Parking is an extra £3 per day. I have half day (4 hour) passes. Can order more in advance if required.
The flat is well located for the world famous Wimbledon All Lawn Tennis Club.
Wireless broadband is included.
Clothes washing facilities are NOT available, but there is a launderette about 4 minutes walk away.
Parking is free in nearby streets like: Dennis Park Crescent, Burstow Road, Whatley Avenue, Canonhill Lane, Sprinfield Avenue.
The flat is located 1-2 minutes away from a Tesco supermarket, a 24hr Marks & Spencer and there's also a co-op supermarket. Waitrose and even more supermarkets and are 10 minutes walk away or 2 minutes by bus.
There are also a selection of good restaurants and take aways in the local and wider area. I can advise which ones you should try.
The location is a 2 minutes train ride, or a 4 minute bus ride from Wimbledon town centre, which is on the District Line. Alternatively, you can walk in around 15 mins.
Postcode/Zip code: SW20 8LS
Buses to the Northern line (Morden or South Wimbledon) leave every 10 mins and take around 5 minutes to arrive.
The neighbourhood is generally very quiet. I have good quality double glazing so it is not draughty and very warm inside.

HOUSE RULES/ GUIDELINES
Please follow the best you can and I’d appreciate it. Thanks
•SHOES OFF at the door please.
•Non-paying guests are not permitted in the property.
•Use of kitchen and cooking utensils/ cutlery is permitted on the condition that everything is PROPERLY cleaned after use. No bits of food left on my belongings please.
Please follow the RECYCLING AND FOOD WASTE (instructions are on the wall).
•When there is a sleeping guest, please KEEP NOISE DOWN after 11pm and LIMIT use of kitchen and shower after that time if it will disturb someone, including me.
•After showering, I’d appreciate it if guests could wipe or rinse the bath out, and RETURN THE BATH MAT to the side of the bath. More importantly, please CLEAN ANY HAIRS out of the PLUGHOLE. Thank you. I don’t charge cleaning fees which is why the rooms are so cheap here. Please keep that in mind. Most guests have not been cleaning up after themselves so far.
•WIPE DOWN kitchen surfaces and hob if they require it after cooking. Do all you own washing up asap.
•PLEASE DON’T store food in a bedroom. There are cupboards and a fridge for this purpose. Thanks.
On checking out, please leave the room as it was when you arrived, and leave the key on the table or shelves. Thank You!
No smoking in the house, obviously. If you have to smoke, it would help me if you could walk around the block to smoke as smoking in front of the door causes problems with the neighbours.
Great experience, James is a great host and it felt just like home. No hassles and the room / area / flat was much as I had expected. Great value, I would certainly stay again !
I stayed at James' in WIMBLEDON for 5 days. The small room was equipped with a very comfortable single sized bed. There was spacious storage room in the room too. Wifi was provided at very reliable speed. Access to kitchen was also provided. The house is located very close to Wimbledon Chase station that connects directly to Wimbledon tube station. 10 mins walk from the house also brings you to South Wimbledon or Morden stations. Overall I am satisfied with my stay and really recommend to others.
Exactly what is says in the add, a clean warm single room in Wimbledon. Found the host to be friendly and will be staying there again in the near future
The space is in a good location and was very clean, inviting, and as described. Directions and rules were very straightforward. Very happy with my stay.
James is a very pleasant guy . He made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The room is as described, clean and comfortable.
Great place to stay for the price. Excellent connections on transport - immediate access to the suburban rail, frequent buses to Tube stops - and a quiet neighbourhood. James was welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Would happily stay again.
