Take it easy at our unique and tranquil getaway. Rymmon Lodge is the ideal retreat to come back and relax after a day fishing at the doorstep “Swannay Loch” birdwatching, walking and sightseeing, time at the beach or browsing the shops and crafts of Kirkwall.

BBQ with a view over the loch and gather round the fire pit with a tipple or two and watch the colourful night sky in this stunning Orkney rural retreat.

The space
Rymmon has a double bedroom/en-suite linen and towels provided.
A bedroom with two singles. Linen and towels provided.
A double sofa bed - please bring your own bed linen and towels, duvet & pillows for the use of the Sofabed (located in lounge area).

Fully functional kitchen, microwave, washing machine, oven, Grill.
Tea towels, salt, pepper, oil, pot cloth and sponge, fairy liquid provided for your stay.

Two toilet rolls, towels, complimentary travel size shampoo, conditioner (please bring along extra loo rolls, toiletries, etc).

One full bottle of gas provided for your stay (gas central heating) if another bottle is required this will be an additional charge (can be purchased by the owner - message if required).

BBQ and fire pit - please bring along charcoal and logs if using.

Please note - no pets at the property, no smoking 🚭 anywhere inside or on the grounds and not suitable for children - thank you/

Guest access
Guests will have total tranquility and use of the lodge, garden, outdoor shed to store boots and wet clothing (please remove wet Sandy boots and wet coats before entering the lodge please).

Parking for two cars at the lodge (free onsite).

Please message Owner (Richard & Sarah) should you need help with anything during your stay and we will pop down.

Keysafe on arrival to save meet and greet in these uncertain times (Covid).

Other things to note
We charge a cleaning fee within your booking fees and ask if you could please leave the lodge tidy as you found it so we can then clean for our next guests. Much appreciated - thank you.

Children are not allowed as it is not suitable.

Pets are not allowed as some guests have pet allergies.

Smoking is not allowed on the property or directly outside.

Arrival is STRICTLY anytime from 4pm.

An array of birds are in the area and seals at the nearby beach if you are keen birdwatchers.

I’m sorry but we do not accept pets at Rymmon Lodge - not because we are not animal lovers but some guests have allergies.

I'm Sarah and I lived in the Yorkshire Dales with three super holiday let’s for a number of years. Having now retired to beautiful Evie in the Orkney Islands I would like to invite you to our super Lodge in the stunning area of Evie, Costa on mainland Orkney.
