We're in a very safe neighbourhood with patrolled streets, with a shopping centre 5 minutes away, close to the Universities of Johannesburg and Wits... and we're just a great, fun, friendly place to stay!

This was not the room we get for the price indicated. The room was very small and unfreindly, no window, juste a glass door on the parking area, very unfreindly place. Without any wooden desk as suggested on this photo, not to talk about the two small beds.
The humidity smell in the shower was very unpleasant, and the breakfast was a very bad joke.
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We are a guesthouse, not a private home so the picture that is displayed as the header on AirBnB is only ONE of our 9 rooms. You were in Room number 7, which in fact does have a window below the beds, as well as the door on the right hand side of the bed. Your room also had a desk, a TV and a bar fridge. In our correspondence here on AirBnB, you also said that two single beds would be perfectly fine, so I'm a bit surprised that you are now complaining about it. Regarding our breakfast - we are a BUDGET B&B, and our breakfast offering is very similar to any hotel or guesthouse I have stayed at in Europe, with a choice of cereals, toast with a selection of spreads, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, filter coffee/tea and fruit juice. You in effect paid R600 for two people for one night, which according to many guests that have stayed with us, is great value for money.
We have taken your comment on the bathroom seriously, and the bathroom has been renovated this past week, repainted, retiled and redecorated.
Aubrey is a very friendly host, who is extremely concerned about the well-being of his guests and tries everything to make their stay enjoyable. The B&B has a great location, is clean and the breakfast really has a lot to offer. We liked it very much.
Absolutely enjoyed my 2 day stay. Aubrey is a great host, helpful in in every aspect of my stay (he went as far as arranging a driver for me on a short notice). Awesome breakfast. Definitely Recommend.
Great b&b, very clean and comfortable. Aubrey was exhaustive in his info and the breakfast was complete and wonderful. Great stay.
Just what we were looking for in Johannesburg. Safe, clean, nicely furnished and with friendly staff. Aubrey was very understanding when we had some travel plan changes- would highly recommend!
A great decision to stay here. The location was very convenient and safe. Aubrey was helpful and took care of everything I needed. I am very glad to have picked this place.
I am the proud proprietor of Joburg's best budget B&B and boutique backpackers... well... that's what my guests keep telling me! Totally devoted to delivering phenomenal service at my guesthouses, and when I find the time, I am a passionate horse rider competing in the fine equine art of dressage.
