Our two beautifully furnished, very spacious (38 sq.m.), spotlessly clean en-suite rooms, with sitting areas and walk-in hot showers, offer superb quality at a very affordable cost. One room has a king-size bed, the other twin beds (please specify which you'd prefer when inquiring). With the addition of single beds, each room can comfortably accommodate four people.
A la carte breakfast (pancakes, French toast, smoothies, espresso coffees and many other goodies) is included free, as is wi-fi, cable tv (including international news and movie channels), DVD player, air-conditioning and large refrigerator/minibar. We will also be happy to book trips for you, store your luggage, rent you a bicycle, provide information about the local area or anything else you might want to know - stay for seven nights or more and we'll even throw in a free Thai cooking class! We also offer fascinating guided food and cultural walks around the old town - learn about Thai culture through eating! Our staff speak excellent English as well as Thai, Mandarin and French.
We are inside the walls of historic Chiang Mai city, within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, including Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh, Walking Street Sunday Market (less than 5 minutes), the Art & Cultural Museum, Three Kings Monument, Thapae Gate (10 minutes), Kad Suan Kaew shopping mall, the Night Bazaar (15 minutes) as well as a wide range of local shops, bars and restaurants. The airport, train station and bus terminals are each only 15 minutes drive away.
We had a wonderful experience staying at Elliebum. Our hosts went above and beyond by booking excursions for us ahead of time. The food in the cafe is delicious! One morning when we had an early excursion, they made sure that there was breakfast in our refrigerator waiting for us.
The room is both clean and comfortable and just as pictured.
Elliebum is conveniently located in easy walking distance to everything.
I highly recommend staying here if you visit Chiang Mai!
Was nice stay. Air conditioner worked well and in Thailand this time of year that's a must for me. Would stay again.
Central place to visit Chiang Mai. Apartment was prepared for our reception with a good distribution, additional bed for our child, complimentary water. Breakfast was good and organized if you want to leave earlier in the morning (before 8am).
Our hosts was attentive to all our requests, even if they don't spent the week-end at home, Mary was here to help us or to give us information, preparting the breakfast...Good surprise for maasgae at Chinola, one of the best massage Thai in Chiang Mai.
You don't need to use tuk-tuk, walking trough the streets is very easy with a good city plan. Good trestaurants no so far.
Thank you Supattha for your reception; online with pur expactations.
Thank you so much.
Mary was taking care of the guesthouse while the owners were on vacation, and she was amazing! Breakfast from their menu is included every morning, and it is delicious! She made us feel very welcome and told us where to go for celebrations the night we arrived (it was NYE). She also allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day after we had checked out.
We had a couple early mornings where we had to leave before the cafe opened, but we let Mary know, and she was able to get breakfast to our room in time for us to eat before we left. She also washed our laundry for us one day for 50 THB.
The room was amazing! We had the room on the top floor, which had a balcony. It was a very clean, large room, and they had left some Thai beer, soft drinks and potato chips for the guests. The neighborhood is great, and the location is walkable to most of the walled city. Definitely would recommend this place. Since there are only 2 rooms, they take real care of the people that stay there! We feel lucky to have been their guests!
That was my third stay in Chiang Mai in one year.. We stayed two nights, Supatha organized what we wanted - cooking class and taxi driver. Both acceptable price. Mostly we were alone in the guesthouse. The price cor the room was readonable. Good location. The only problem was that we were not allowed to take shower in the evening before leaving to the airport.
Elliebum is in a great location within the old walled city. Paul and Gabe are great hosts and happy to help with any queries or questions about things to do in Chaing Mai and the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend and visit again.
Supattha was very helpful. Replied all my queries promptly and also emailed us. directions in thai for our driver.
Her staff are so pleasant. The room for.3 is elegantly decorated, clean and really spacious n cosy!
Breakfast was also included and the staff even packed us a box when she knew we were checking out very early.
