  • What a great way to experience Japanese hospitality and home. Nana and her father were great hosts and helped us when our baggage didn't make it on the airplane. The house is architecturally very cool and sleeping in the tatami room was fun. With my own kitchen and bath, we could mingle with Nana as much or as little as we wanted. There is a grocery store within easy walking distance as well as restaurants. Definitely recommended!

  • When me and my friend arrived in Yokohama I could not believe my eyes. This is a traditional japanese house, but with all the convenience for foreigners. An adapter for my american laptop charger, secure wireless internet, TV, outlets by the bed (futon), best shower room I've seen in my life, easy to use laundry machine, coffee machine, bathroom products, all in all every detail you'd expect from a high end hotel, and then some.

The living room which is where we and our hosts gathered to chat and watch TV, is on the other side of the house, so you can talk without disturbing someone sleeping.

I loved it and I'll go there again any chance I get. If you stay with Nana and her father, please make sure you keep everything clean and be respectful. I really want to stay there again, so don't mess it up or else I'm coming after you ! :D :D :)
