There was only one problem considering there were 5 guests, however, due to the guests attitude, it seemed to overshadow the good. Our ads clearly state the # of size of beds & how many it sleeps. It is not uncommon for guests to ask if we will accept additional guests, which we do. With that being said, since I have no knowledge as to the ages, sizes, or sleeping arrangements of the guests, it is not for my to question it. So when Antonio asked if they could have 5 people, I agreed. Since the unit only has a queen bed & twin sofa bed, I never imagined they expected me to provide 5 beds for 5 guests in a 400 SF guest house! Upon their arrival, they took the cushions from the chaise lounges outside in the common area (shared by all guests) & brought them into their unit to use as beds without even asking permission, where the cushions remained during their entire stay. The rules clearly state guests are not allowed to bring outdoor furniture into their units! To add insult to injury, when I told her they needed to immediately put the cushions back on the chairs she told me they had. I later discovered this was untrue. I emailed her to put the cushions back & even gave her directions to the local Walmart to buy a sleeping bag/air bed. They still did not comply. Next time I saw her a few days later, I told her AGAIN to put the cushions back. She argued w/ me saying she told me she would put them back when they checked out, and that she did not get my email as she had no wifi reception (everyone else did.) She blamed me, saying I should have told her she the extra guests needed to bring their own sleeping bags. She blamed her lack of English on miscommunication. I could have just gone into the unit to reclaim & remove my cushions, but out of consideration for what would result in a lack of sleeping accommodations, I didn't. The problem I had with this guest was the total refusal to follow the rules and do what I asked showing lack of respect for host, rules & property. Had it not been for this incident, I would have given them a positive review.
