We are delighted to welcome you to our colorful guesthouse. The main feature is an 11 foot bay window perfect for bird watching and enjoying greenery. Our cottage is perfect for a quick trip to Nacogdoches and for travelers seeking inspiration. We are within walking distance to downtown Nacogdoches. Note: The place is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and one child (sleeper sofa).

All are welcome: LGBTQIA+ and BLM friendly.

Large vehicles may find it challeneging to navigate the driveway.

The space
The space is an open-concept studio that features magnificent views of the garden. Custom lighting controls can enhance the ambiance. The space is vibrant and colorful, that is both soothing and inspirational. Note: The place is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and one child (futon sleeper). Please not that there is no kitchen, only a fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker.

Hello! I am originally from Budapest, Hungary but have lived in Texas for a very long time. I'm a professor at a local college and my husband, Jim, is a writer. We are also cat-lovers and have four cats: Mufasa, Smokey, Charcoal, and Spotty. We enjoy traveling the world and meeting people from all walks of life. I enjoy spending time with children and with adults, vegetarian meals, hiking, stimulating conversations, yoga, traveling, silliness, feminism, reading, and the great outdoors. I am also a low-maintenance traveler who'd rather support airbnb than the hotel industry when traveling. Jim enjoys spending time in the outdoors, cooking, and playing with the fours cats. We look forward to hosting you in small town Nacogdoches, in the middle of the pinewoods.
