  • Joseph is a gracious and communicative host.

The house seems to be under a fair bit of renovations right now, so not everything is in perfect shape. It is very local to the airport, however, which is handy when you need to leave at 04:15 to get there for an early morning flight home

  • The Villa is very nice!! Big, confortable, and clean, for the nice price!!
The administrators and workers are very kind.
There is a big swimming pool, and gardens.
They let us park inside and cook our meals in the shared kitchen.
There are a lot of buses for go to Cancun.
From the main street (Carrettera Cancun-Tulum), you can take buses for Playa del Carmen, Tulum..
Alfredo Bonfil its a really quiet area and secure area, with economic stores, and gentle people!

  • The place was quiet and clean, just what I was looking for. I had a day to wait for my girlfriend so I picked this place to be closer to the airport. However, I had to pay to take the bus all the way to Cancun and then get a taxi to come all the way back to the house (total $16). Plus the taxi wanted $15 to take me back to the airport the next day. I walked 1 km to the main road and got a cab for $5. Have to factor the transportation costs into the price of the room. I think if someone was renting a car it would be an excellent selection. Joseph was very kind and even gave me a couple eggs in the morning.

  • Nice place but difficult to find. Better to say the exact address who's Carlos Ignacio 30. It was cool (good fan), clean in the room and the hot and good pressure (water) is really appreciated.. Better to say than we can't have meat nowhere in the house even in the fridge. Fine to be able to use the fridge and the stove. Thank you for the coffee, tea and water during the journey. It's not useful to have a pool if we can't use it (but nice view from the room). Nice yard who needs again maintenance. Good value for the money and very quiet place. Thank for the CD. Bye Joseph.

  • We enjoyed our time at this mansion in suburban Cancun. This is a good place for a short stay if you're not interested in visiting the tourist attractions. I would recommend the Rosi room. The house is far away from the beach and downtown. It's about a mile walk from the bus stop. Taxis cost 80 pesos ($6) to downtown where you can go to a grocery store. There aren't any restaurants to walk to except the taco stands that open up some nights. They're good for the first couple of nights. Domino's delivers to the house. The kitchen is in the condition of a hostel. I doubt you will use the pool. We stayed here for a month in the Sunflower room, which is actually the pool house in the backyard. There's no hot water in the sunflower (website hidden) was okay for us because we are travelers on a budget, but it may not be the best idea for vacationers. Joseph, the owner, is very nice as well as Eduardo, the care taker.

  • Joseph is just the owner of the house, He was very friendly giving instructions on how to get there. However, the house itself is filthy and overran with bugs. There is ants in the kitchen and all the bedrooms. , the person that maintains the house got drunk and passed out two of the 6 nights we were there. Other then that he was friendly. For the money I suppose it is worth it but don't expect a mansion. most appliances don't work and there is no air conditioning.

  • Ive stayed at Jeseph`s place for 3 night and I can say it is a very nice place, my room had a private bathroom, a fan and A/C.
the whole place is clean and maintained, and you can easily feel at home!
Joseph is a good man with a big heart, he knows Cancun very well and has alot of information and tips.
I highly recommend this place if you dont need to be in Cancun all day, its very easy to arrive (6 pesos by local bus or 50 pesos by taxi)

  • We only stayed one night at the BnB as we just arrived in Cancun and wanted to go further to Belize. It's a wonderful house, just like on the pictures. We enjoyed our short stay there. If you want to see the real Mexican life, it's the place to be. We highly recommend a car!
