  • We had a great time in L'Aubergine Rouge. Eric welcomed us in a very pleasant way and informed us about everything important in Arles. The suggested bakery shops and restaurants were even better than promised. The house itself was pretty and as interesting as one would expect from a several centuries old house. We had a great time!

  • Our family of four was lucky enough to spend Christmas at L'Aubergine Rouge while Eric and Augusto were out of town (and staying with other Air B'n'B hosts). Our stay was absolutely wonderful and we would very highly recommend L'Aubergine Rouge.

Eric and Augusto's attention to detail as hosts is unparalleled - while we only got to meet them briefly before their departure, they went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable, assisting us with directions, providing maps and recommending events and restaurants within Arles. Already burning candles, slippers, heated towels and dressing gowns all helped to make our stay special - in fact we didn't want to leave!

L'Aubergine Rouge was filled with small discoveries and personalised touches, and provided a perfect base for us to explore Arles and the surrounding area. Rustic in a quirky / comfortable way, we felt that L'Aubergine Rouge was the ideal place to stay to get a real taste of that part of France. Arles itself is a lovely town, so easy to get around, and with a lovely community feel - friends of Eric and Augusto's were ready and willing to help if we needed anything while our hosts were away.

We would love to have the opportunity to return to Arles and stay at L'Aubergine Rouge when Eric & Augusto are in town.
