Private oasis on the Russian River, with kayaks, badminton net and hot tub! A freestanding studio has two queen beds with room for 4 additional guests. The studio is available only to parties renting the main house.

Dogs are welcome only if they are directly supervised when they are outdoors. It is not OK to close them in the house and take off for the day.

Neighborhood highlights

The River House is along the road that leads into Potter Valley, a quiet agricultural town surrounded by golden hills. The river is gentle and slow, with clear water and no neighbors on the opposite bank. There is enough flat water to kayak or inner tube downstream for a bit. We often see blue herons, otters, and deer. Quiet and serene spot, with a tiered garden leading down to the water.

I'm a retired teacher and school principal and a happy grandma. My husband, Sam, is a retired architect. We remodeled River House extensively over a period of 40 years, and then Sam designed the place we live now, next door.....a home with a living roof and a wall of windows looking at the otters' playground. I love to garden.
