Home away from Home - MaryL'Bone!

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Devonshire Place, Greater London, United Kingdom

The Space

A much loved spacious one-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor of a period building in the very heart of London can be yours on your next stay in London!

The apartment has been beautifully furnished and is very functional. It is south facing and is flooded with sun light during the day and is well proportioned throughout with a large living room, spacious bedroom and well sized bathroom.

The apartment can comfortably accommodate four people. The bedroom has one queen size bed with the most incredible mattress, a recent purchase I will never regret. I will provide a set of towels and bed linen.

The living room has a dining table, which sits six and a large plasma TV with a good selection of channels. A spare bed comfortably sleeps two without too much of a squish, I can vouch for it as have slept on it myself on more than one occasion. It can be wheeled about the flat and placed in either a bedroom or living room depending on your requirements.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need from pots and pans and cookery books (about 60 of them) to Nespresso coffee machine to give you that boost! There is also a washing machine/dryer, toaster and a kettle and, of course, a well tested oven.

The bathroom has been recently renovated and has a well sized shower cabin.

LONGER STAYS
-------------------
Please, note that I give preference to longer stays, a week and over.

If you are looking for accommodation of one month and over email me directly with possible dates of your stay. I will be working abroad in 2014 between one and four months and would be interested in renting the apartment out to one person/family during that time.

  • Fab location, lovely hosts, and a cosy flat in a beautiful old building. The kitchen is loaded with every cookbook you could ever need, as well as the tools to whip up some great meals, and the Nespresso machine was a welcome bonus.

  • This place is a real gem! Very central, very tasteful and very quiet at night. Having Marylebone High Street, Regent Street and Regents Park at your doorstep made my stay in London the most enjoyable ever. Zara is a fabulous host. I will definitely like to come back!

  • My son and I had a very nice stay at Zara's apartment. We arrived in the evening and it was very kind of her to leave us with milk and fruit and crumpets for breakfast. Zara was a very good host and e mailed me from her holiday destination to check if everything was ok.

The apartment is ideally located, close to everything, good shopping and cafes, and all the sights. We could walk almost everywhere and the Regents Park tube was only a few minutes walk away and only a few stops from the major attractions. Fortunately we were able to cook when we wanted to as Zara has a very well equipped kitchen. All the utensils you could possibly need. This is often a bit of a problem in lots of apartments.
I would recommend Zaras apartment, it was comfy and a nice temperature, even when the weather turned quite cool. It was spacious and my son who lives in London could comfortably join us at times.
I would happily stay there again.

  • Zara was the most incredible host anyone could ask for. She thoroughly answered all the millions of questions I had before arrival, and during my stay. She made wonderful suggestions for places to eat, things to see, and things to do while in London to be sure my stay was perfect.

The flat is beautiful, clean, and equipped with nearly everything one could need. It is located in the most charming area of London, with loads of cafes, restaurants of all cuisines, the beautiful Regent's Park, just a few minutes to the tube, and close to all the sights of central London.
I most enthusiastically recommend a stay at Zara's flat to make the absolute most one's time in London.

  • Beautiful, large apartment. Excellent location. Fabulous amenities. Thoughtful host.

Perfect for 2 adults and teenager. Easy access to tube.

Washer/dryer combo, great kitchen with super cookbooks and yummy coffee maker, comfy bed and sofa bed, large bath with soaker tub/shower combo, elegantly decorated apartment with a lot of living space.

Wonderful vacation rental made all the more special by friendly owner.

Thank you Zarah for your hospitality and going above and beyond !
I would definitely rent from Zarah again and highly recommend her as an airbnb host.

  • We had a wonderful time staying at Zarah's. I only have positive things to say. She was a perfect host and the flat was in a great location. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the sitting room is spacious. The flat is within walking distance from just about everything. It is a one minute walk from Marylebone High St which has a Le Pain Quotidien, a fresh market and breakfast shop, The Natural Kitchen, and several nice boutique stores. I loved staying at Zarah's and wish I could have stayed longer!

  • Three great things about the stay - 1) Zarah and her suggestions (I can personally recommend Iberica, the Mason's Arms, the Natural Kitchen, and her Nespresso machine) - Zarah made us feel at home and got us going in the right direction from our early arrival in London. She was helpful and very accommodating 2) the apartment was comfortable and a pleasure to stay in - it was like having a second home 3) the location was fabulous - close to a number of tube lines and walking distance from a lot of places (we walked back from Trafalgar Square one of the nights) but tucked away enough to be quiet at night. We would definitely go back the next time we are in London. Thanks, Zarah!

  • We're so happy we decided to rent this apartment. It is very well located in a safe area, with only a few minutes walk to Oxford/Regent Str.
The apartment is comfortable and very bright. The sofa bed is in good quality. Nice, fluffy towels and high quality bed linnen was also very appreciated.
Zarah is a perfect host that not only answered all our questions very promptly, but also gave us many great tips on restaurants etc when we arrived. Thank you Zarah!
    Would stay here again!
