We have TWO incredible creeks nearby with seasonal blue holes, boulder gardens, and waterfalls. The Cumberland Trail wanders close by and the Tennessee River is just a mile away!
The space
Tucked into the mountainside of Prentice Cooper State Forest, this recently updated home offers everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well appointed for all your culinary needs. There are three bedrooms with two queen beds and a double bed. There is plenty of room to roam with a sprawling yard, large deck, fire pit, and a gas grill.
Just across the street is Suck Creek with seasonal blue holes and boulder gardens. And Middle Creek is less than 2 miles away with waterfalls, more breathtaking boulder gardens, and stunning swim spots. The house backs up to Prentice Cooper State Forest and its 26,000 acres of semi-protected land. The Cumberland Trail and the Tennessee River are just one mile away. And the climbing mecca, Tennessee Wall, is just down the road. So, there are plenty of outdoor attractions for everyone.
Despite the feel of being far from the hustle and bustle, we're an easy 8 mile drive to Downtown Chattanooga.
Guest access
In addition to the carport, there are spaces for two additional vehicles. We share a driveway with our one neighbor, so cars must not block access to their property.
Other things to note
The house straddles the Eastern and Central time zones. Be aware that cell phones may alternate between the two when in this area.
We are on well water which can have a slick feel to it and a sulphur odor at times. Rest assured, it is clean and safe.

From the host
Our house is located in a private setting where literally thousands of acres of undeveloped land start just out the front door. We have one neighbor whose driveway we share, so just be sure not to block access for them. Just across the street is access to magnificent boulder gardens and seasonal blue holes for swimming and exploring. There are many trails for nearby hikes and the Tennessee River is less than a mile from the house.
