Ideally located in the historical district,on a little square, right next to the PALACE OF THE POPES. This is a quiet and very bright apartment housed in a former mansion. You will enjoy a beautiful and rare VIEW over the rooftops and the Palace.
This is a quiet and bright apartment oriented South and West. It is located on the 3rd floor with lift. It is housed in a former mansion in which the oldest part is from the 14th century (part of the blue bedroom and the bathroom) and the most recent part of the mansion is from the 17th century.
We love old houses with lots of character and the apartment matches exactly this. The apartment is comfortable and decorated on a Provencal style. We love to go to antiques to find furnitures and provencal paintings.

Two bedrooms :
1) The grey bedroom : great view of the Pope Palace, 1 double bed (140 cm wide),
2) The blue bedroom : smaller, high window with colored glasses, 2 single beds (90 cm wide)
Guests will have access to everything in the apartment. It is a 60m2 space with an open modern fitted kitchen, a lounge, two bedrooms, a modern bathroom and a washroom.

This apartment in Avignon is our family holiday apartment. On site, a friend of us, who lives in Avignon the whole year, will greet you, will present you the apartment and will answer any questions you might have.

Right in the heart of Avignon, you will be at the foot of theaters, shops, restaurants, fruit & fish/meat market and cultural sites.
Few advices about the area :
Visits of the area by car :
Vineyards (Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise and Dentelles) are a few steps to enjoy great wines of Côtes du Rhône. Then you can go to Orange where the best preserved Roman theater in the world), The Luberon (Gordes, Apt Valley), the Camargue, the Alpilles (St. Remy, Arles, Les Baux de Provence).
Visits by regional train from the Avignon central train station :
you could go for the day to the beautiful city of Arles (20 minutes away by train).
Access by train :
- From the TGV train station : taxi (or shuttle + 20 min. walk)
- From the Central train station: taxi (or 20 min. walk)
Access by car:
"Parking du Palais des Papes" few minutes away walking distance of the flat

This apartment in Avignon is our family holiday apartment. We love to go to Avignon for a break, the region is fantastic.
We decorated the apartment on a provencal style going to antiques to find old furnitures and paintings.
