We live in the former village Lauffohr, which belongs to the city of Brugg. It is a very quiet, rural neighborhood. Often cows graze behind our house (with bells). In the house it has three apartments. In two minutes you are at the Aare in the middle of nature or in 5 minutes in the forest. We live in the immediate vicinity of the "geographic moated castle", where Aarau, Reuss and Limmat merge. The city of Brugg with its beautiful old town is easily reachable on foot (40 min) or by bus. In the nearby area there are thermal baths (Bad Schinznach), Roman museums (Brugg, Windisch), medieval castles with museums (Wildegg, Lenzburg, Hallwyl, Habsburg), the monastery church Königsfelden with its beautiful glass windows and the monastery peninsula Wettingen with its baroque church.

We are a married couple from Switzerland and love to travel. If possible we stay every year for a few weeks in the United States of America. We enjoy the nature and love to hike and bike. In Switzerland we both work and started just recently as a host for airbnb. Gaby works in the administration for some wonderful medival castles, roman heritages and a monastry. So she loves to show our guests arround.
