Pasquale is really nice and friendly person!! He showed me around some special spot of Rome and tell me a lot of stories. I was really enjoyed stay over there. The place is really comfortable. I definitely will come back this place! Highly recommend!
The room was great, Pasquale was a fantastic host who made us feel extremely welcomed at his place. The room was very spacious and clean, sleeping in a double bed was a luxury and having an ensuite was terrific. Pasquale is a very welcoming person, who we shared alot of laughs and good food with. Always one for a chat my Rome experience was made memorable by Pasquale!
Pasquale is a lovely host. He's such a good person and cook. He treated me as family, definitely it was a great experience. Thank you for everything Pasquale, it was very nice to meet you!!!!
This was the worst appartment I have ever stayed in. The appartment smelled bad, was grimy, the microwave was dirty some of the doors into the appartment couldn't lock properly, and was therefore a security risk. Pasquale even advised us not to leave our valuables in the appartment. We found a dirty pan inside the oven, and the oven smoked when we turned it on (because of the old grime inside). There was no adequate cleaning supplies we could not even clean it ourselves. Some of the beds were uncomfortable. The stale smell in the appartment was so bad that it made us feel nauseous. The place has potential, but unless the host makes a real effort to keep the place clean (and not just supervicially) and make it more inviting I would advise people to avoid it.
We were originally booked for 5 nights with Pasquale, but later altered the booking to only 1 night while we were searching for alternative accomodation in Rome. We communicated our discomfort with Pasquale, first he suggested an alternative appartment, but we asked him to allow us to change the booking to only 1 day. We asked for a refund via the airbnb resolution tool, and we were refunded the full amount of our stay.We are very happy with the quick maner in which the dispute was resolved.
Pasquale is a wonderful host and his house is very welcoming and comfortable! On Sunday he cooked a delicious Italian-Japanese meal and his stories were smart and funny. His house is connected to the center both by a few buses and by a city train. I do recommend staying at his place.
We had a great week in Rome. Pasquale was a very accommodating and generous host. He stayed up late the night we came and made sure we weren't lost, invited us for a delicious dinner one night and offered many espressos and pieces of watermelon (ideal in the heat). However, keep in mind that the apartment is over 1/2 hour from the center, convenient by bus but too far to come home for an afternoon nap, for example. We compensated with naps in the parks, we especially recommend the Aventine hill. It as also quite hot in the room at night, be we came during a very hot week in August. Definately no regrets, we loved staing in a VERY welcoming Italian home and being in a neighborhood where we shared our morning cappucino in the cafe downstairs with Italians and no tourists.
