Interaction with Guests
If we are at home, we are going to welcome you in person; if not, after you make the reservation, you gonna receive a check in msg which includes so many details you might need.
It is not the center of the university city, and also I won't say this is a fancy top level neighborhood. My neighbors are friendly, most of them are long term house owners, newly moved in scholars and college students.
There is a Police station across the street and the area is patrolled by guards of University City.
Though I cannot say it's the center of university city, just look at how convenient it is!
Only 5 mins walking to the 40-market Street subway. 15 mins walking to 30-market amtrak train station. 5 mins walking to the University of Drexel, 10 mins walking to Upenn, 15 mins walking to HUP! 20 Mins walking to Art Museum! If you wanna go to center city, just 5mins walking plus 8 mins subway time!

Extremely clean and comfortable. Very easy check in and check out experience. Was just a 10 minute walk from Step 2 CS testing center. I had a pleasant stay--thanks!
About 20 minutes walk to central Penn University. The room is very clean. Although I had small problem in getting into the room (input the password in a wrong way), the house keeper (not the owner) came later to help. The kitchen is very pretty!
The room was everything the description on the website said it would be. Lin and Sid were very responsive and flexible when I communicated with them, and their parents (who watched over the house) were super friendly and welcoming. It may help you to know a bit of Mandarin when talking with them though. Their English wasn't so good (Nothing Google Translate or a translation app on your phone couldn't fix). The neighborhood was nice. It was relatively safe. The house was right around the corner from a police station. People there were diverse and friendly. There were plenty of places to eat around nearby Market, Chestnut and Walnut Streets (I personally recommend Han Dynasty. I ate there a year ago, and then again on this trip and was not disappointed). Perhaps the best part about this whole experience though was the affordable price. Without that, my trip to Philly would not have been possible as I was on a budget. I highly recommend this place!
Lynn was a really accommodating host. Her instructions were very accurate, her parents were very nice to greet me when I arrived. I had a wonderful stay.
I didn't meet Lynn, but the communication and everything was going well. She is very kind and helpful, she told me everything I need before I check in. Her parents can speak English (just a little bit) but really friendly and nice to my mom n me. Highly recommend to stay here :).
Great place, great host! Lynn was so helpful although I was arriving so late, around 2 AM and booked the place only few hours ahead she sent me all I needed to know. I had a great stay! Also, the place was very clean. Glad I stayed there!

There are some vacancy rooms with the convenient location. I think it's a good idea to offer them for the people who really need.
My families don't make much noise and we are not party animal. Hope you are the ones who really trustful, neat and won't disturb us either.
How can we tell you how much we love our home and how lovely it is! Hope you will like it too and enjoy your trip when you stay here!
As a traveler:
My husband and I are enthusiastic travelers. My family has changed several cities and countries during the last 10 years. Even after we got married,we still enjoy to explore new places. When we are travelling, BNB seems attractive and interesting----great location, ffordable, clean, more comfortable and the most important is just like at home.
Life to us is kind of mystic travels, sometimes you have no choice but accept the challenges.
Keeping the room clean and organized wherever we are! :D
