We had a great week staying at Stephen's place! The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is brand new and a delight, and the kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals or just eating breakfast in the morning (as we did). The location is excellent, and Stephen provided fool-proof directions on how to arrive! You really are just a short 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Place, and from there Brussels is your oyster; all of the public transportation hubs in the area, but there are at least three metro/light rail lines that pass within a five minute walk of Stephen's place, so it's really easy to get wherever you're going. I recommend you follow his advice; if you don't mind a walk, don't bother with a metro subscription. Brussels is a pretty small town, geographically, so it's easy to walk to many of the places you want to see and there are hundreds of excellent restaurants, cafés, bars, and chocolate shops to stop at for a break on your way there. As a note to those with mobility challenges, the apartment is on the third (European) or fourth (American) floor. We didn't find this a problem ourselves, but I can't remember having read it in the description.

Great modern place in a perfect location! Stephen was a cordial host, and he even helped us with our heavy bag on the stairs. A great spot to explore Brussels from.

Stephen's place is perfectly located, central yet quiet. The apartment is very clean, modern, and updated, even better than in photos. Stephen was very kind and helpful, easy to communicate with. I would recommend to anyone.

Stephen was a great host! He met us at the apartment as soon as we arrived and helped us enter the building easily. The stairs up to his place were easy to climb and not too narrow for our backpacks. His place was beautiful and clean and we had no issues with the home. Beautiful kitchen equipped with a kettle and espresso machine made for a nice treat in the morning. Newly renovated bathroom was very spacious and lovely. Washer and dryer in basement was great. It was occupied when we went to use it and our host agreed to dry our clothes for us and leave them in a bag As it was late when we started. He was great! Would absolutely stay here again. Merci Stephen!

A brusseleir by adoption (I arrived in 2003 after living in France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Switzerland), I am very fond of my adoptive city. I am a beauty and emotion seeker: Brussels offers a lot in terms of theater, jazz, dance and exhibitions! It's an easy city which offers a place for every one. Come and get a taste of its great quality of life :)
