Pete is the epitome of what airbnb listings are all about. He met me at the property (which is a beautiful and well kept home) and made me feel right at ... well home. I've been to Jacksonville many times, but I had never spent anytime in the Riverside area. I'm hooked! I will definitely be back and hopefully I can stay at Pete's relaxing accommodations.
PERFECTION. The location, the house, the hospitality--it was all perfect. Pete went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Would 100% stay here again!
Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great house in a great neighborhood. Will definitely stay again when in Jacksonville!
Pete's house is great and his welcome warm. We didn't expect wine and snacks! The neighborhood is near lots of great restaurants and coffee shops. Very cool area. And the house is superb....clean, comfortable and interesting. A wonderful spot to vacation!
Pete's place is in the heart of the Riverside neighborhood and his house is exactly as its shown on all the pretty pictures.. Plus, he was very welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations. Will recommend his place to everyone who's visiting the JAX area...
Pete, and his home, are awesome. I stayed at his place for three nights. The house is right in the middle of the best part of town, close to everything that I wanted to check out. Pete was very accommodating and was available for any questions I had. I highly recommend his place.
I rented Pete's place to cook a meal for my daughter's birth mother, birth sister, and birth brother & his adoptive parents. Peter was accommodating to our needs and desires long before we even arrived; he communicated with me and allowed me to check in at 10. The house worked out great!!! I was particularly happy that the yard was fully fenced and secure for the girls to play in. Keep in mind that Peter lives in this house and what that implies, which I didn't find problematic at all. It's a lived-in home, which, in our case, made for a great family gathering, in spite of a little apprehension with the kids and all of Pete's great breakable items that decorate his house. We do this visit once a year, and I wouldn't hesitate to rent Pete's place again. Great house and an even better host!

I moved to Jacksonville in December 2009 and completely renovated my bungalow. It now offers all the modern conveniences and retains it's historic charm. Come to Ernest Street and let me help you enjoy all that the Jacksonville area has to offer.
