THERE IS NO POOL WITH THIS PROPERTY.
The main house does NOT have access to the pool located on property. You can rent both the main house and the back house if you are looking for a pool property and that is over $300 per night (give or take + airbnb fee) per night or you can rent Villa Palms the back unit only ($159 + airbnb fee) - and that too will get you the pool! We do NOT encourage or allow any late night pool parties with tons of guests and drinking etc. . . We weed those people OUT. We want quiet renters who are here to wine and dine and relax.
I believe in a 'honeymoon salad' approach i.e. 'lettuce alone' :)
very close to plaza; low key; quiet
Vern's Taxi is the way to go especially if you are wine tasting or drinking! Low and short fares = very affordable option

I rented the main house at the Villa Palms for the weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. The booking process was painless and Joe was a great host. The house was clean and the house rules were clear and totally reasonable. We had a fantastic stay using the house as "base camp" for trips up and down the Napa and Sonoma valleys. We all really enjoyed our stay and we can't wait to book this property again. In fact I've already referred several friends to this property. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The house was perfect for our stay. It's really cute and quaint. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and we even found a really fun game in the closet called "Say Anything." If you are with friends, you guys should try to play this game.
The electricity was out when we first arrived. Joe followed up promptly and then brought candles over
this was lovely! great that there was space enough for my mom, me and my baby to have our own rooms. simple, comfy. the minor changes i would make are to not used scented laundry products, as my nose prefers no scent to "clean" scent. thanks for the lovely home base in sonoma!
Great host. As described. 10 min drive from the town square.
We had a great stay at Joe's. The place is just as pictured and is conveniently located near everything you need in Sonoma. Joe was super easy to communicate with too! Also, the shower has great water pressure.
Great location in Sonoma. Very well located in the center of the whole area.
Love that the house is fenced off in the front yard so we can let our dogs roam around safely.
Well very layed out home for all 5 of us. 3 bedrooms total with 3 beds so everyone had their privacy.
Full kitchen (although we just ate out).
Only 1 bathroom but it was spacious and worked well for us.
Living room and TV with a log fireplace is great for a group of us just hanging out.
The house was nice, spacious and clean. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.
Joe's space was clean and inviting. Everything was as described in terms of rooms and space. The furniture was comfortable, the house was close to Sonoma and walkable to some great restaurants, and we had everything we needed for a great night.
Joe's house is terrific in all aspects. Clean, well-decorated, spacious (2 bedrooms), and close to the heart of Sonoma and many wineries and tasting rooms in the area. Also, the house is in close proximity to many great restaurants (i.e. Rancho Viejo, Girl & the Fig, etc). I loved the kitchen and the living room - my friends and I enjoyed drinking wine around the table, playing card games and monopoly. Also, we really loved the skylights all around the house - it is so well-lit, warm and inviting. Great for groups. Would definitely come back and stay here again - unbeatable value and better than any hotel or B&B in the area.
Easy check in and out, spacious with comfy beds. Easy access to a lot of wineries and dining. Great layout and would want to come back.
However, one bad spot -- Joe's cleaning crew misplaced the TV remote, and we received an nasty email from Joe saying that we would be charged (b/c he assumed it was us). Wow, they misplaced the remote, and we the guests are being blamed.
I called him in under 15 minutes, and he said, "sorry, we found it." Joe knows it was poor form, but this is worth noting.
It wasn't a nasty email. I even said ' I know this is stressful having to
Inquire' In the email as I needed to at least follow up...It was resolved successfully and was not the guests error ...Yet ifsomething is amiss we have to follow up! Someone needs to Thicken up their skin a bit! Other than that
These were nice guests!
