Cozy, private, and near downtown
The back deck and jacuzzi are on a private greenbelt. My house does not have a lot of curb appeal, but the inside and deck are impressive. The house is 12 years old. There some cracks in the driveway and the bathtub has some scratches. But overall it is in good shape. It is very private and cozy. .

Interaction with Guests
I rarely meet my guests. However, I know every inch of Austin, and I can match any guests interests with something to do here. I'd even show you around town if you like. I've been a bar fly in Austin for 15 years. I'm slowing down, but still have great fun here.
When this house is rented, I stay in my second home in North Austin.
My street and neighborhood are quiet and safe. Texas is a border state. You'll see a few signs in Spanish hear it spoken in the grocery store.

Host could not have been better, was timely with all responses to questions prior to visit. The house was exactly as described, very comfortable with all the amenities. Very comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood in a part of town I would not have found on my own, great location close to downtown but off on its own. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Austin!
Yes, the house and interior decorations were just as described and we loved the place and the comforts it offered. Gregg had been very thoughtful in clearly providing instructions for the use of house utilities and it helped us in settling down at the place very quickly for a week of enjoyment of Austin and its surroundings. Overall, the house was clean, well provided and comfortable. Its location and parking facilities were wonderful. All in all, a great place to stay in Austin and we'd love to stay again for a longer duration next time.
Gregg provided us with comprehensive information of how to work all the high tech stuff in his home, which my teens loved. The house was very clean and we left it so. The location of the home is central enough to get around Austin. We "ubered" our way around and went to some great restaurants.
Gregg was so wonderful. He picked us up at the airport and gave us a tour of his home. We felt comfortable and taken care of. He also told us about a place to listen to music at Saxon Pub. Very cool place.
Austin is a fabulous city and you will not be disappointed staying at Gregg's place he is the perfect host.
Gregg's place was great! My co-workers and I stayed here for SXSWedu. It was only a 10-minute drive to the convention center. It was easy to get downtown with a rental car, and it was nice to stay in a neighborhood and come home to chill in the hot tub every night.
Gregg's house is perfect. The description is accurate, and the house is great for a group of people with 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The hot tub is wonderful and private with trees between you and any neighbors. The neighborhood is safe and easily accessible to all parts of Austin. Gregg was also very communicative and emailed me back within minutes when I had a question. A+ and definitely would recommend to others.
Gregg was super welcoming and provided LOTS of information about his home and the area in a welcome packet once we arrived. All the girls raved about his attention to detail & how perfect everything was. Gregg's space was great for our bachelorette party. Our party of 10 had plenty of space to move around and places to sleep (including the couches and some "crash pads" for the floor). As promised, Gregg had plenty of sheets, towels, toiletries, and miscellaneous kitchen supplies that were easy to find and utilize. He also had extra fold out chairs in the kitchen so everyone could sit around the kitchen table. The main thing we really missed were mirrors anywhere outside the bathroom for when all 10 girls were trying to get ready at once. We were so proud at how we had staggered the showers (which, btw, were great), but then everyone got jammed up in the bathroom trying to use the mirrors. The only other thing I could have used was a whisk or a mixer to bake a cake, but we made it work and it still turned out fine. Gregg's back deck has a very relaxed, remote feel even though his home is so close to the city. The fire pit and hot tub are nice extras for a fun getaway. The home is easily accessible to downtown, the Austin airport, and HEB for a quick grocery run. Even though I was a little unsure about the safety of the area having lived in Austin, I was surprised to find Gregg's neighborhood was quiet and secluded and I had no concerns when I was there. I think all the girls would be totally happy going back to Gregg's place for a weekend stay in Austin. We were very pleased customers!
44 year old. IT Professional. I find myself single at the moment and so I have a nice house to myself. I love my life in Austin, but love to travel also. I've had great luck with Airbnb both as renter and renting out my own home. People have been respectful of my home, as I have others.
