Its comfortable, quiet, and convenient to anywhere in the city (you can see the subway entrance from the front door), its a perfect place for a beautiful NYC getaway. *For pricing on multiple rooms, please see the bottom of the description.

Located in the heart of trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn, you will love this place. Its a very clean and fully renovated brooklyn style home. Each room is clean and quiet with a queen size bed that sleeps two. Your room is private! The house is duplex style:
- 1st Floor: Living room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Laundry, and Backyard
- 2nd Floor: The 3 Bedrooms, you can rent them separately or all together. Each one is completely private, but its great for parties/groups of people.
• Room #1 has a Queen Bed and can sleep 2 comfortably.
• Room #2 has a Queen Bed to sleep 2 comfortably. Also, it has a twin size Murphy Bed for a third person at $50 extra a night. If its 2 people and you still want to use the Murphy Bed, it is still and extra $50 a night for that.
• Room #3 has a Queen Bed and can sleep 2 comfortably. This room can also accommodate a third person on an air-mattress for an additional $50 a night. If its 2 people and you still need the air-mattress, its an extra $25 a night for that.
- 3rd Floor: My separate and private apt. I have my own kitchen, bath, and so on. Also, Im always here to help, just knock. :-)

The house is right off the Lorimer L-train subway stop (the second stop from Manhattan). You can see the subway entrance from the front stoop of the house.
Union Square is a 7 minute subway ride and you can get almost anywhere in the city within 20-30 minutes, or less. Take a trip to Times Square without getting hit with all the tourist-trap costs of staying there. The immediate neighborhood offers great/famous bars, restaurants, shops, clubs, and parks. And, the prices are low compared to most places in Manhattan.

The house has great amenities:
• Very clean living areas, common areas are cleaned daily
• Private Rooms. Each room locks behind you for extra safety
• Towels, soaps, and of course, clean sheets provided
• Laundry on the 1st floor (washer and dryer)
• Advanced Push-button locks, no keys to keep track of! You have one code (it only is active for your stay) that allows you entrance to the front doors and your room.
• Free WiFi in the house, with plug-in options too
• Big living room area to relax
• Big flat screen TV in the living room
• Free cable with HBO and Showtime on-demand
• Roku player (by request) with Hulu Plus and Netflix and more on-demand
• A decent selection of Video games and Movies
• Full kitchen for cooking, with stainless steal appliances
• Backyard for BBQ'ing and/or hanging out
• Front Stoop with douple porch rocking chair (great for people watching)
• A small safe in every room that can fit most laptops and devices

I live at the house too, on the 3rd floor. Its a separate apartment but Im available all the time to help check in/out or answer any questions about the area or the city. You will have a great time staying here. I can be contacted by phone, text, whats app, (website hidden), line, or simply knock on my door. Whatever is best for you.

fyi, Since AirBnB does not have a way to manage multiple rooms, please email about availability, as their calendar is probably not correct. Also, if you want to rent the entire place (pending availability) to get the correct pricing do this: Put in just 2 people, select your dates, then multiply that by 3 rooms. If you have more than 6 people, add $50 a night for additional people.

*Please note, airbnb does not have a way to calculate multiple rooms, therefore their price is almost always incorrect when renting more than one room.
• I charge by room, and each room holds/is priced for 2 people.
• If there is a third person in a room, then its an extra $50 per person. Room #2 has a 2nd twin-murphy bed, so it comfortably sleeps 3 people. Room #3 can fit an air mattress to have a third person.
•The weekdays, its $100 per room. ($125 for one night weekday stay)
• The weekends, its $125 per room. ($150 for one night weekend stay)

See you soon,
- Hill

  • A nice, well kept apartment. 8 of us stayed here for two nights, and it didn't ever feel too cramped. The living room bedroom and kitchen were absolutely fine for our stay. Only one bathroom was a bit of a headache, as it meant lots of waiting time in the mornings and evenings, but we made do. We were 8 pretty relaxed guys though. Large groups with more intensive restroom needs might be put out a bit too much. Hill was a nice host, and was flexible in light of our general rowdiness (it was a bachelor party). Location is the best thing. I live in NYC and understand what is a good and bad spot. This place is 1 minute from the L line and 10 minutes into Manhattan. Really close to great bars/groceries/etc... Definitely recommended overall.

  • Very good place to stay for a visit to New York!!

Rooms on the first floor are clean, fine beds, enough closet space and all rooms have a safe (for which you can use you own code). Kitchen, bathroom and living room downstairs are also clean. Kitchen and bathroom have to be shared with other guests (if there are any) New towels every day by Crystal!
The code system to the front door(s) and the sleepingrooms is perfect! You get your own code which is only functional during your stay and no problems with (the risk of) forgetting your key

The guesthouse i very close to the metro (L) to Manhattan. Within 15-20 min you are in central Manhattan and also JFK airport is easy to reach by metro (and airtrain), 2 shifts.

Contact with Hill and Crystal is easy, quick and clear. They are very helpfull with advise, can be contacted almost whenever.

This place can defenitely be recommended for a visit to NYC! Clean, quick metro acces to Manhattan (and JFK), cheaper than hotels nearby or at Manhattan.

  • Absolutely wonderful experience. Hill and Crystal were both lightning fast in their communication, from the time the booking was made through check-in through checkout. The Guesthouse is a great experience, too. You can hang out with folks from around the world in the living room as much or as little as you'd like, and the neighborhood is perfect (must check out Gimme! Coffee, a block down the street - wonderful Euro-style espresso bar.) Getting in and out of Manhattan was a breeze. 10-25 minutes to anywhere a tourist would likely tread during the day hours.

  • Everything as expected. Hill and Crystal take care of details and leave a lot of information not only about how to get to the room, but also leaflets about places to eat and other useful information. They leave clean towels and slippers in the room. The doors can be unlocked using a password that is only active during your stay, which adds a lot of flexibility because you don't have to arrange a meeting with them on the first day to get the keys (there are no keys involved).

The location is near a subway station (lines L and G).

In summary, highly recommended, we would repeat the experience! ^^

We had a nice and pleasant stay at Hill and Crystal Guesthouse.
We had the house for a week occupying the three rooms. We found the house very comfortable. The location is excellent: very close to the subway, 20 minutes to downtown Manhattan and walking distance of bars and restaurants open late

It is important for guests to note that there is only 1 bathroom downstairs and all rooms are on an upper floor. The stairs are comfortable, but can be a problem for older people.

Our group occupied the full house (the 3 rooms). It was very comfortable. We took advantage of kitchen facilities almost every day. We did feel that the number of kitchen utensils were tight (missing a large bowl and a pan). It was not a problem for us, because we were one group and always ate together, but it could be a problem if the house is being occupied by different groups.
We did not want to bother Hill, surely he would have provided all needed utelsils if we asked.

It is also important to consider the condition of daily cleaning of common areas, something we once had to remember, but quickly corrected.
Crystal and Hill are very friendly and, despite living in the same building, they maintain adequate privacy while they are always available to help. To recommend.

  • Hill and Crystal were great hosts. Super friendly and knowledgeable of the area. With my iPhone in hand, they gave me some great map pointers--very helpful if you're not familiar with the area.

Williamsburg is super cool and I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone. A safe feeling area that didn't provide a single sketchy moment--which is rare for a country mouse like me. haha.

    Recommended AirBnb destination.

  • My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at the Williamsbourg Guesthouse. It was an ideal location to explore Manhattan and Brooklyn. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We also stayed one evenig in the livingroom, where we were even able to watch some great tv-series, which was a lot of fun. Hill was an ideal host and gave us also some tips for the sightseeing. There is only one bathroom - but it wasn´t a problem. The bathroom was also very clean. I can really only recommend Hill´s place to any of you, who wants to book an affordable and authentic stay in New York. I would like to come back some day...

About
I, Hill, grew up in Virginia, but have lived in NYC since 2005. So, you get a NY'er with southern hospitality, the best of both worlds. I like to make sure my guests are comfortable and can find the places they want to go. This includes tourist spots, but definitely does not stop there. I love to travel and meet new people. So having people come to my place is perfect. Crystal is the manager of the house and day-to-day duties. Feel free to contact either one of us at any time. We both receive the (website hidden)s. :-)
