Andateci
Giovanna's 18th century villa is a magnificent place. Not only has it been very tastefully renovated in a impressively simple way with the right balance of old and new, the setting with the beautiful garden is a true gem. La Giomina transports you into a true italian way of country feeling. We were lucky to be treated to a delicious dinner, again it was the simplicity and the freshness of the food that made our mouths water. In thge morning my senses were woken by a smell of freshly made italian coffee. The table was set outside with fresh fruits, home made cake, rolls and focaccia. It was a bliss.
Giovanna is a very pleasant and respectful host offering help when needed. We will definitely be back on our next trip south.
Grazzie mille, Giovanna!
I'm italian but I actually live in paris with my family. We have three children , two boys and one girl. Here in Paris I am an fine art restorer (old masters and modern pictures) . I enjoy big towns but I really need to spend part of my time in a calm place in contact with nature living in the present moment.
In Novi every year I make a vegetable garden, I started doing this for my children when we lived in Milan and we went to "La Giomina" every week end with friends and plenty of children.
