House Rules

Security deposit payable in cash on arrival (fully refunded at checkout if there are no damages or breakages):
- stays of less than a month = USD 200.00
- stays of 1 month or more = USD 500.00

Normally check-in and check-out times are very flexible depending on your travel arrangements.

However if you are checking-in/out on the same day that another guest is checking-out/in and it's not possible to work out a mutually convenient arrangement for everybody then you may have to be prepared to arrive later or leave earlier than you would ideally like.
If all else fails, then the following check-in/check-out times will apply:
- Check-in 3pm
- Check-out 12pm

I will always try to help out as much as possible in these cases and, if necessary, luggage can be safely left for a few hours in my other apartment nearby.

This is a great place. We were a bit concerned about its being too small from the description, but it had plenty of room. Lots of space for eating, using computers, etc. We had a bad computer cord which blew the fuses, and Cameron was very responsive, extremely understanding and helpful in getting the power back on. The location is outstanding, being right in the center of Recoleta, between two great subway stops and on a street with many buses and taxis, as well as every kind of shop, restaurant, laundry, spa, coffee place, etc. that you can imagine. We loved our stay of a month here.

We stayed in Cameron's apartment for 5 nights. Overall it's a nice place and we enjoyed our stay, but there were some issues which tainted our impression. The apartment was pretty dirty and needs a serious deep clean rather than just the spot treatment it gets between guests. The kitchen in particular was covered in muck from the fridge to the bin in the cabinet. We just avoided the kitchen and used our own plastic bags as rubbish bins. The towels and sheets were both worn and had stains on them and clearly had not been replaced in a long time. The A/C in one of the bedrooms was broken when we arrived, but Cameron was great about getting it replaced very quickly. A+ on that. However, the A/C in the living room dripped water throughout our stay, causing a puddle on the floor. It needs to be replaced. The WiFi is VERY slow and kept dropping on all of our devices. Cameron was very easy to communicate with and he was attentive to our concerns, replacing the broken A/C and even offering to bring in the cleaning person during our stay given my comments about the cleanliness. However he was clearly running a business rather than acting as a host. During check in it was all about getting the deposit and during check out he conducted a full check to ensure that everything was still there and not broken. However, Cameron gets props for meeting us at 6am for checkout given that that is when we needed to leave. I don't intend this review to be overly negative - overall we enjoyed staying here. The location is great, the price is right, and the apartment is spacious, with good water pressure in the bathroom. It just needs a DEEP clean, some new towels/sheets, and a better modem/router for the WiFi. Good option for a budget stay in Recoleta with two big comfy bedrooms.

Our family of four spent the holidays at Cameron's apartment. It is large, well equipped and simply furnished. The neighbourhood was central and close to shops, restaurants and some attractions. We really walked a lot! BA is a fabulous city. Check in and out with Cameron was easy as well.

My family and I rented Cameron's Buenos Aires apartment for a week. We had an early arrival (around 8 AM); Cameron was kind enough to accommodate us with a check-in around 9 AM. The apartment is in a great part of town, Recoleta. It is definitely not a tourist location. However, my family enjoyed this as we were able to see how the citizens of Buenos Aires live and there are still quite a number of places to visit within walking distance such as the Recoleta Cemetery and the Borges Museum. The only issue was that despite the numerous banks around the apartment, absolutely none of them take debit/credit cards from the United States. As a heads up, we found a currency exchange by crossing French, in a hidden store behind the green newspaper stand. As for the apartment itself, there are two beds that easily fit two people each; however, one of chose to stay on the couch. We also enjoyed the recently remodeled bathrooms! Keep in mind there is only one shower, though. Cameron himself was very communicative and addressed issues promptly. We would definitely recommend staying at his wonderful apartment in Recoleta!

Cameron was a great host, he arrived promptly at the beginning/end of our stay and was available by phone if we needed anything. We spent a week in the flat with our daughter who is studying in Buenos Aires. The space was perfect for us, spacious, bright, two bedrooms, with very comfortable beds, and a king in the master. The shower was robust and hot and the tub provided a nice soak after a full day of sightseeing. We ate out mostly but had cozy breakfasts in the kitchen and cooked dinner two nights. As mentioned previously, there is a large grocery store just around the corner, many local bakeries and a lovely gelato shop, Buffala, a few blocks away which we visited frequently. The location is perfect for visiting neighborhoods of interest, excellent transportation, buses, subway, taxis and reliable wifi. We highly recommend!
