Large three room apartment situated in the Plateau Mont-Royal (in the heart of the city). A large terrace at the back allows you to eat outside. The apartment is furnished, washer and dryer, complete bedding and wifi.
Charming apartment in heart of Montreal. Large three room apartment situated in the Plateau Mont-Royal. This neighborhood has become, over the years, one of the most vibrant and trendy of the city. There is the best butcher in town, many shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment is located just steps away from the main avenue on a quiet and green street. A large terrace at the back allows you to eat outside. The apartment is furnished, washer and dryer at your disposal, storage, bookcase filled with books, complete bedding, cable and wifi. Also available for private room.
This place is TRULY central and charming.
The host was welcoming and very helpful when I realized that I made a mistake in booking.
The place is roomy but cozy; nicely furnished and there are a lot of books and magazines.
The kitchen is SO well equipped with dinning and cooking equipment... and a very large table to dine at.
There is a grocery store at a hop, skip and jump away. Many shops and conveniences are on the main street 1/4 block away. There are also a couple of very good, high-end restaurants near by. Not super expensive but very Montreal.
For those that love city parks, there is a very large one a couple of blocks away.
I would recommend to anyone who wants a truly cosmopolitan experience.
Maude's apartment was ideal in every way, and just as advertised. It was toasty warm (which was a relief considering it was 7 degrees when we arrived), the kitchen was cheery, and the whole place is spacious. As a host, Maude was communicative and really helpful from . We got solid recommendations for eats, and for ice skating :-)
Mont Royal is a lovely neighborhood--hip and incredibly friendly folks. I found cheap snowpants nearby, and several restaurants with warm ambiance. I'd be happy to stay here again.
Thank you Maude, we haven't met you but we had most pleasant stay at your lovely home.
Well arranged fully equipped, tidy and clean. We were four and had to use the sofa bed, which was surprisingly comfortable (they usually aren't).
Maude was responsive and kind, we had a definitely positive experience!
My son, who was visiting me from the West Coast, and I spent two days at Maude's attractive and neat apartment. It was fun to live as Montrealers do in a building with front-to-back apartments and wrought-iron staircase on exterior front. Bringing a car, as we did, proved challenging, though as we figured out, there is a city parking lot at end of street and possibilities for overnight parking nearer the apartment. Lovely park nearby where one can sit, watch (and dodge) streams of bicyclists. In all, much enjoyed. Thank you, Maude.
This place was very big, clean and comfortable. It's in a great neighborhood and not an overly far walk from the metro. Also, a bus stop right around the corner. It's also very close to a beautiful park and tons of good restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Also, it had a super pleasant balcony overlooking the backyard. Maude is also a very responsive communicator.
Young professional, born and raised in Montreal. Warm and generous hostess, I am a good guide to Montreal’s cultural life. I like: traveling, discussions around a good meal, strong friendships and music. Can’t live without: books, my iphone, white wine, dessert and new challenges.
